It's Saturday March 9th at about 8:30 in the morning.

So have you ever been to a rope drop?

If you haven't and you're new to the show, you're about to witness one.

Right now everyone is congregating around their preferred lands.

These folks are waiting to get in to Frontierland.

These folks are waiting to get in to Adventureland.

And that's always the most crowded side, that's the Tomorrowland side.

That's due to the popularity of Space Mountain and Star Tours of course.

Everybody eager to get that one out of the way first.

So Tomorrowland is always the one that's most packed.

Go figure. People can't stop complaining about how awful Tomorrowland is, but lookit...HAHA

I don't understand Disneyland peeps sometimes, there is no pleasing us!

Here we go. It's a sprint!

So the Fantasy Faire appears to be done.

Just a few, I guess, final things they're doing. But they've taken the walls down.

I think they're doing soft openings, and they did a press event the other day.

I didn't get to attend either.

It looks like we're nearly there, and I tell you what...

It looks different than I thought it would, even after seeing the progress over the walls.

Funny how behind the walls it looked bigger to me. Now it looks...really small.

But it does look like they've done quite a bit with that little bit of space.

The Royal Hall is back here. Now I don't know what the Royal Hall is...

And to be honest, I don't even know much about the Fantasy Faire.

I have no daughters...or a wife...or any other significant other that gives a rat about princesses.

I guess I do more than anyone in my family, which is funny.

They've got this roped off with a bunch of cast members here, which leads me to believe they're planning on doing a soft opening today.

It's a little difficult to see from here, they got everything roped off so I can't get that close...

you can see Figaro in the window. Let me see if I can't get a little closer here.

You can see right in the middle there is the Tangled tower.

This view right here is quite nice.

It's definitely an improvement over before, aesthetically speaking.

With the walkway that you had down here, this walkway was always there.

Except it just ran parallel to the pavilion area where the bands played.

There wasn't really much going on. It wasn't that attractive.

This..uh...they really appointed this nicely with the railings and the theming is really nice.

I would love to take a walk through there right now. Or come through the castle even.

Which leads me to wonder...that used to be kind of short cut...

If you're coming in from Fantasyland you can cut through here and you can cut through that way...

through the pavilion and into the backside of uh...but through Rancho Del Zocalo restaurant.

I don't figure you can do that today. Or maybe you can, I don't know.

I'm wondering if that is the same path.

to Frontierland.

So there you have it. The new Princess Fantasy Faire.

If you had any reservations before I would say...come and give it a look. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
