Heteronyms are words that are spelled the same but they have different pronunciations and different meanings.  

同形異音語とは、綴りは同じですが、発音が異なり、意味も異なる単語のことです。

Our words today are "lead" a metallic element and "lead" to guide.

今日の単語は、金属元素の「鉛 (lead)」と、導くための「リード (lead)」です。

So these words start and end with the same sound so let's start there.

では、これらの単語は同じ音で始まり、同じ音で終わります。ここから始めましょう。

To say the l sound,/l/, tip of the tongue is going to touch the back of your top front teeth.

lの音、/l/を言うには、舌先が上の前歯の裏側に触れるようにします。

To be super specific it's the alveolar ridge which is the little piece of skin that just starts to touch the top of the teeth.

具体的に言うと、歯茎で、歯の上部に少し接する小さな皮膚の部分のことです。

My lips are pulled back in more of a smile shape.

唇はより笑顔の形に引きのばされています。

They are not rounded. It's not /u/. It's /l/. Going to end with a d, /d/.

形は丸みを帯びません。/u/ ではありません。/l/です。d、/d/ で終わります。

Tongue is gonna touch that alveolar ridge again,  which is the spot where your teeth meet the skin, the roof of your mouth.  

舌は再び歯茎に触れることになります、歯と皮膚、つまり口の天井が接する場所です。

As you do that, the tongue is gonna pop down a little bit, pull away from those teeth,  and the air is going to puff out.

そうすると、舌が少し下に飛び出して、歯から離れ、空気が吐き出されます。

Your voice box is on and moving for that d sound.

その d 音のために、声帯はオンになって動いているのです。

For the noun for "lead," that is going to be the short e sound.  

名詞の「lead (鉛)」の場合、短い e の音になります。

My mouth is going to be a little more open and more relaxed for this vowel.  

この母音のため、口はもう少し開き、よりリラックスします。

You can see the tip of my tongue just peeking out between the top and the bottom teeth.

上の歯と下の歯の間に舌の先がちょうど覗いているのがわかると思います。

For the long e in "lead," you smile. Your tongue gonna be nice and high and flat and tense.

「lead」の「e」は、にっこりします。舌を高く平らにして緊張させます。

So we have lead, lead, lead. 

なので、レッド、レッド、レッド

Lead, lead. Lead, lead, lead, lead.

リード、リード。レッド、リード、レッド、リード

And now for a sentence:

Lead me to the lead deposit.
