Today we have arrived at halo 4 in our hunt for all the best easter eggs in the halo games.
Just like in halo reach there are a couple of very cool ones that will really blow your
mind. I’m dean abdou and these are our top 10 easter eggs in halo 4.
Don’t you just love it when you rack up some kills, destroy the enemy time after time?,
everyone has had those great games at least a few times… and admit it… we have all
done it… teabagging your opponents bodies after a flawless victory to rub it in. it
seems like 343 liked the idea of people doing this in matchmaking as they have even made
an easter egg out of it. If you were to use hologram in an online match and send the hologram
directly to an opponent’s dead body, it would start teabagging by itself.. isn’t
that the best feature you have ever seen?
We have probably all seen or heard about the youtube video where a guy gets just a little
bit too enthusiastic about a double rainbow.. 343 decided to take a joke with this and place
their own, hidden, double rainbow in the game. To get to this double rainbow you have to
play through the level reclaimer until you have to escort the mammoth to drive near the
edge of a big cliff.. if you were to look down on this cliff towards the waterfalls,
a double rainbow will spawn..
Halo 4 is filled with funny dialogue of random marines not really taking this war too serious..
here are just a few segments that you can hear if you decide to hang around with some
of those marines for a little too long. No wonder the humans are losing this fight…
On the mission the composer there are a few indoor areas where you have to fight the covenant.
Some of those covenant units enter the battlefield via airlocks but if you are fast enough you
can prevent them from ever having a chance to fight. All you have to do is go to the
airlock before they open the door and push this button which will then vent the airlock
and send ur enemies into space to die..
Have you ever taken a closer look at the Spartan laser, for example with your sniper rifle?
You haven’t? well.. let me do it for you. Because if you were to actually zoom in on
the Spartan laser you should be able see this sign which says: ‘Big Scary Laser, do not
look into beam with remaining eye’. Makes you wonder what happened while testing this
thing that made them put this warning sign on every Spartan laser in the game.
On the first level of the halo 4 campaign you will be able to find small boxes all around
the map. These boxes are the same boxes as the box you would get when you bought the
limited edition of halo 4. I guess someone dropped them all from running away from the
covenant… too bad for master chief he cannot pick those up.
The halo 4 limited edition is not the only box that made it into this game. on that same
level if you jump of the first bridge and activate the terminal on that level it will
give you some information and the master chief himself. But as she keeps talking there will
eventually be a picture of the cover of halo 3 in the bottom left corner, another subtle,
yet cool easter egg.
Remember that tribute room from halo reach that had all these cool things from the community?
Yea, we don’t have that in halo 4.. but what we do have are small little easter eggs
in Spartans ops about the community especially red vs blue. For example, a few levels have
hidden boxes which is you shoot them a soundbite from the red vs blue intro can be heard. After
shooting the box all the dialogue will be switched with the hilarious dialogue from
Red vs Blue until the end of the mission.
Again back to the level composer you should be able to find yourself a golden grenade
next to a dead marine. This grenade refers back to one of the halo books in which this
grenade was a marines lucky grenade, but apparently it didn’t help him much. You can pick up
the grenade and use it in combat like any other.. but unfortunately it doesn’t do
extra damage.
Halo 4 is filled with small little easter eggs which actually help you complete missions
by giving extra weapons and ammo as a reward for finding them. The following one has to
be the most difficult one to find though.. what you have to do is grab a lightrifle and
place yourself in this hexagon like area. then you have to drop a few shots in the holes
of these pillars within a certain amount of time.. if you do it right, a weapon box will
spawn with a couple of incineration cannons that will help you get through the end of
the mission. And that was it for this video, halo 5 will
be coming out in just a short month and we will continue the series on release trying
to find the latest easter eggs, so for that definitely stay tuned here on TGN. As always,
if you enjoyed this video, make sure to hit that like button, and we will see you next
time!
