Judges 18, 9 and 10.

士師記18章9節と10節

Arise, for we have seen the land and behold it is very good, and are you still, be not slothful to go and enter to possess the land, for God hath given it unto your hands, a place where there is no want of anything that is in the earth.

立ち上がって、私たちはその地を見た。

Arise.

起きなさい。

Then there is something definite for us to do, nothing is ours unless we take it.

そうすれば、私たちがすべきことが明確になる。

The children of Joseph, Manassa and Ephraim, took their inheritance, Joshua 16:4.

ヨセフの子たち、マナッサとエフライムは、ヨシュア記16:4に嗣業を得た。

The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions, Obadiah 17.

ヤコブの家はその所有物を所有する。

The upright shall have good things in possession.

まっすぐな者は、良いものを手にすることができる。

We need to have appropriating faith in regard to God's promises.

私たちは、神の約束に関して適切な信仰を持つ必要がある。

We must make God's word our own personal possession.

私たちは神の言葉を自分だけのものにしなければならない。

A child was asked once what appropriating faith was.

ある子供が、「信仰の充足とは何か」と問われたことがある。

And the answer was, it's taking a pencil and underscoring all the me's and mines and my's in the Bible.

その答えは、鉛筆で聖書のすべての「私」「私の」「私の」にアンダーラインを引くというものだった。

Take any word you please that he's spoken and say, that word is my word.

彼が口にしたどんな言葉でもいい。

Put your finger on this promise and say, it's mine.

この約束に指をかけ、私のものだと言いなさい。

How much of the word has been endorsed and recited and said, it's done.

どれだけ多くの言葉が支持され、暗唱され、言われ続けてきたことか。

How many promises can you subscribe and say, fulfilled to me.

あなたはどれだけの約束を守ることができますか？

Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

息子よ、あなたはいつも私と共にいます。

Don't let your inheritance go by default.

相続を不履行にしてはならない。

When faith goes to market, it always takes a basket.

信仰が市場に出るときは、いつもバスケットを持っていく。
