Ho-ho-ho Merry Christmas! Welcome to the Pronunciation Challenge, everyone. I’m very happy to have everyone from VoiceTube here to practice our pronunciation together! What we have today is an episode about the Netflix Christmas universe! What is that exactly? Well, think of the Marvel cinematic universe. You know how every character is somehow connected in each film? There’s something similar going on with all the Christmas movie specials on Netflix; at least, according to this video. However, I also have a Christmas tradition and it doesn’t involve watching any movies from Netflix. It’s actually a classic movie that I watch every year during this time to get in the festive mood! What is it? You know what’s coming! Finish recording the featured sentence first and then I’ll tell you. =)

For the first word, we have
similarly
Four syllables.
For the first syllable we have “si” which contains a short i sound, “si”. “Mi” here, has a short U sound, “muh”. “Lar”, kind of sounds like the word, “air” but say it quickly with the L sound in front, “Lair”. “Lee” sounds like Lee as in Bruce Lee. “Similarly”.


Next up, we have

enchanting
Three syllables
“En” has a short E sound, “en”. “Chan” like the Chinese last name, “Chan”. “Ting” has your typical “I N G” ending sound. Enchanting.

Lastly, we have,

meaningful
Three syllables
“Mea” has a long E sound, “mee”. “Ning” has your typical “I N G” sound, “ning”. “Ful” sounds like the word, “full”, like how you get full after a meal. “Meaningful”.

This was a must-watch growing up and for the listeners who haven’t heard of this movie, please, please, I beg of you to go watch this movie immediately. Do it for me!
