やる気を出す!外国語学習のモチベーションを保つ方法
So, an example of an unrealistic goal is: "I want to be able to speak German fluently." That's very, very difficult to achieve and it's gonna take you a long time.
非現実的な目標の例としてあげられるのは「ドイツ語を流ちょうに話せるようになりたい」です。これは達成するにはめっちゃ難しいし、時間もかかります。

“LEARNING ANOTHER LANGUAGE IS NOT ONLY LEARNING DIFFERENT WORDS FOR THE SAME THINGS, BUT LEARNING ANOTHER WAY TO THINK ABOUT THINGS.” – FLORA LEWIS

Hey everyone! It’s me, Hubert and I want to start a new theme for the next couple of weeks on language learning! That’s what we’re all here for right? Well, with this episode I want to give you guys some motivation! The video we’re about to watch is exactly about that! How to stay motivated when learning a language! Have you guys been lacking motivation lately? Well, do not fret! Which means to not worry or be unhappy about something. That’s what our job as the hosts for the Pronunciation Challenge is here for! Learning a new language can be challenging but it’s also very rewarding. Instead of giving yourself so much pressure, why not enjoy the process of it? Watch the video to learn more and then come back for today’s featured sentence!

Today’s featured sentence:
“So, an example of an unrealistic goal is: "I want to be able to speak German fluently." That's very, very difficult to achieve and it's gonna take you a long time.”

I’ll say that again.

“So, an example of an unrealistic goal is: "I want to be able to speak German fluently." That's very, very difficult to achieve and it's gonna take you a long time.”

Ok, now time for the Pronunciation Tips.

First word.
Unrealistic (uhn·ree·uh·li·stik)
Five syllables.
Un (short U sound), ree (long E sound), uh (again, short U sound), li (sounds like “Lee” as in Bruce Lee), stik (sounds like the word stick). Unrealistic.

Next one is,
Fluently (floo · uhnt · lee)
Floo (as in having the “flu”), uhnt (think of the word “end” but with a T ending instead), lee (again, Bruce Lee’s “Lee”). Fluently.

And our last one for pronunciation would be:
Difficult (di · fuh · klt)
Di (short “i” sound), fuh (short “u” sound) and cult (pretty much the word “cult”). Difficult.

Moving onto Vocabulary!

The first word is:
1. Unrealistic
Definition
having a wrong idea of what is likely to happen or of what you can really do; not based on facts
Used in a sentence you could say,
It's unrealistic to expect an answer before next week. 。

Next word,
2. Fluently
Definition
When a person is fluent, they can speak a language easily, well, and quickly.
An example would be,
“I want to be able to speak English fluently."

And lastly,
3. Achieve
Definition:
to succeed in finishing something or reaching an aim, especially after a lot of work or effort
Used in a sentence you can say:
“What do you hope to achieve?”

Outro
Now, do you guys feel better? I already applaud most of you (which means I am showing appreciation and encouragement) for sticking with Voicetube! I have been reading the comments and have noticed a few of the same names pop up every so often! Good job on the continued hard work! Language learning is a journey, a process, and not a destination. Heck, I’m still improving my own English and I’m a native speaker! Just have fun with it guys. Alright, make sure you do your recordings! If you guys want to drop by and say hi, hit me up on instagram @huberttran. Until the next episode, peace!
