Asking for directions when lost or travelling

道に迷った時や旅行中に道を尋ねる

Excuse me.

失礼します。

Yes, how can I help you?

はい、何かご用ですか？

Sorry to disturb you, but, I’m lost. I’m looking for the Sydney Opera House.

お邪魔して申し訳ありませんが、道に迷っています。シドニーオペラハウスを探しているんですが

You’re almost there.

もうすぐだ

Can you give me directions to get there?

道順を教えてくれないか？

Sure, go down this street for two blocks and turn left.

この通りを2ブロック行って左に曲がって

Okay.

いいわよ

Once you have turned left, walk down to the next main road and turn right.

左折したら、次の大通りまで歩いて右折します。

Okay, turn left and then right.

よし、左に曲がって右に曲がって

Once you are on that main road, walk down until you get to the train station.

その大通りに出たら、駅に着くまで歩きます。

Yes.

そうですね。

When you’re at the train station you should be able to see the Opera House from there.

駅にいるときは、そこからオペラ座が見えるはずです。
