I put a bottom sheet on the mattress:

マットレスにボトムシーツを敷いた：

If I have a fitted sheet, I slip it over the mattress.

フィットシーツがあれば、マットレスの上に敷く。

If I have a flat sheet, I tuck it under the mattress.

フラットシーツがあれば、マットレスの下に敷く。

Then, I tuck the top sheet under the mattress at the foot of the bed.

そして、ベッドの足元のマットレスの下にシーツを敷く。

I pull the top sheet tight.

トップシーツをきつく引っ張る。

and spread a blanket over the bed

ベッドに毛布をかける

and smooth it out.

そしてそれを滑らかにする。

I spread a bedspread over the bed.

ベッドにベッドカバーをかけた。

I fluff up the pillows

枕をふかふかにする

and lay them at the head of the bed.

をベッドの前に置いた。

I pull the bedspread over the pillows

ベッドカバーを枕にかける

and smooth it out.

そしてそれを滑らかにする。
