Now this you could install on Windows servers and also if you have Windows 10, if you have professional or enterprise edition, so on, you could install it on that and that's what actually what we're running.

So once you install the role, you go into your Hyper-V manager and you should have your local computer there.

Next and then for the generation, generation 1 or generation 2, since we're using newer version of Windows and it's only 64-bit, we're going to click this option to get the best features.

For memory, this is how much RAM you want to give it.

If you have the physical memory in your computer to spare, you can always turn this off later.

One thing I've noticed, if you're not fast enough pressing any key to boot from Windows, it'll try and use a boot method.

So you just have to come up here and do Control-Alt-Delete while you have the console screen here.

So other than that, you just go through your installation.

And then you can just turn it on and off and use it just like any other one of your VMs.
