This is something that we really need to highlight is there are a lot of women out there that are trying to have kids being in my thirties, I've had the sense of settling down, accepting what is thinking more about the future, allowing myself to change my mind and make small changes in my life.

But that doesn't come without challenges, struggling with weight gain, mustering up the courage to go outside on my own more since quarantining most days for the past two years, you know, just getting used to it all again and getting back into it slowly.

しかし、体重増加に悩んだり、2年間ほとんど隔離されていたため一人で外出する勇気を出したり、またすべてに慣れるために少しずつ復帰していくなど、困難がないわけではありません。

Living in japan has become very comfortable for me and I'm in a very good place in my life but there's so much more than I need to think about.

So I'm making gluten free.

This is so hard to find um bob's red mill, red or rolled oats, whole grain and I'm going to be making it with this organic vanilla extract that I got, I can't speak on amazon and I usually put like some cinnamon inside of it and cook it that way and then kind of stir it up and then add some berries on top and like I just, just might go to breakfast.

The next day I had this sudden urge to clean our entire apartment.

Japanese apartments are quite challenging to clean and organize.

Not only do they have a lack of storage space, but the place can get cluttered, dusty and even moldy easily.

Hello, everyone yesterday we went to get sushi with Alyssa and it was american.

So we went to get that yesterday and we did a lot of walking and just like walking around.

And like if everything's kind of dispersed everywhere it's hard for me to like I think okay I need to like put this away over here and then I get distracted with something else.

This is like such a good tip.

I used to do this as a kid all the time when you put everything in the middle of the room and then you clean it up that way it's so much easier to get rid of clutter because then you can pick up an item and be like okay where does this go, put this away instead of looking around the room for things to clean up so that's what I'm going to do.

What I've found while living here is that you actually have to clean more regularly than you do american homes or apartments.

住んでみてわかったのは、アメリカの家やアパートよりも、実は定期的に掃除をしなければいけないということです。

So I was determined to make this space feel new again if my environment is chaos, my mind is chaos.

だから、私の環境がカオスなら、私の心もカオスだと、この空間をもう一度新しく感じられるようにしようと思ったのです。

Okay so behind this couch are all the things that we want to throw away including our christmas tree.

We want to get a smaller one just because it's just there's nowhere to put it in this apartment and we just want to get a tinier one that we can store like all of this stuff, we don't even play anymore.

We got like some of these cheap games and stuff, I don't know, we might keep a couple of the games but like the other stuff just needs to go like I have a new crock pot, I don't need that and we could potentially sell it, but it just takes so long and then we have to you know get on someone else's schedule and like meet them and like it's just it's not worth it, it's, we might as well throw it away.

But I just want to say the reason why like I even have, we have this old carpet that we don't need, we got a new one, all of this stuff, it takes so long to get rid of it because we have to call the company, we have to have them pick it up, we have to pay to throw this stuff away unfortunately.

And so there's this long drawn out process in Japan where you have to like actually called to have them pick up the big garbage like you can't just throw it out like in America like they have to pick it up and you have to pay for it.

We have stuff upstairs that needs to be thrown away.

And like this table, we're getting rid of this table.

We use our co Tatsu to eat together.

But um we're getting rid of this and we're putting like a little counter over here with like coffee and like it's going to be a breakfast station.

We're going to put our toaster oven on the, the table is just gonna be a little breakfast set up with some flowers and things like that.

We want to make it look super nice to find a place like this big with stairs and like an upstairs.

It's very hard to find.

So we're very lucky to even be in this place.

We just need to spruce things up and organize it a little bit better throwing things away you guys.

My office actually works as a bedroom and we actually sleep up in a loft where you can see the ladder.

Um just because we wanted both of our own spaces since we are always together 24/7, we wanted to have separate offices and not just a bedroom and we didn't want to work downstairs or anything.

So it's important that we both had our own place.

I need to like, I mean I've been cleaning all day but I need to move my body a little bit and my husband's bringing home some ingredients to make tacos um and he went um grocery shopping for me so I don't have to, so thank you.

I've been overthinking lately, therefore I needed a break.

So I took a couple of days off to do some retail therapy, but I was so hesitant to go because I had to face the fact that I went up two pants sizes over the past couple of years, so I'm having some insecurities with that, especially shopping in Japan, a lot of the clothes fit so different.

I had a rough time in the dressing rooms, but I managed to find a few things for the summer in the end.

Okay, so it is the next day and I went on a huge shopping spree, which I never do.

So I'm Grateful that I was able to do it because first of all, I don't fit in anything um summer wise, so I feel like when you're 30 you do gain some weight and um you know, that's pretty natural.

Um I am still over the weight that I should be, and so I am having a lot of insecurities and struggles with that and I do want to address something um and I don't normally address any negative comments and things like that because like whatever, who has time for that, I feel like this is kind of important to address and this is something that happened to me a long time ago when I was dealing with SIBO, which is small intestinal bacterial disorder.

So I have a lot of bloating, I still have a lot of bloating, I still have a lot of I B.

Someone was like oh are you pregnant and all this stuff and I'm just kind of like I can't really wrap my head around it like do you actually walk up to somebody and like look at their stomach and say oh my gosh are you pregnant?

Like anyone can be bloated or have gained weight or something like that, don't you worry about ever offending somebody?

肥えているとか、太っているとか、そんなことは誰でもあるわけで、誰かを怒らせる心配はないのでしょうか？

Like I feel like that's that's a bloat, especially to people who are trying to conceive or get pregnant and we have to address this and I'm gonna put this comment here because this person said it right like this is this is something that we really need to highlight that there are a lot of women out there that are trying to have um kids.

特に、妊娠を希望している人たちにとって、これは大きな負担になりますし、この問題を解決しなければなりません。

And then when someone asks how are you pregnant, it can really be a very sensitive topic.

そして、「妊娠はどうですか？」と聞かれたら、本当にデリケートな話題になります。

I feel like a lot of people aren't told that it's rude I think growing up or have never been told and um I get it and some people are really young.

多くの人が失礼だと言われずに育ってきたと思うし、言われたことがない人もいると思うんです。

I don't know, should never ask that without someone actually announcing if they're pregnant or not.

妊娠しているかどうか発表していない状態で、そんなことを聞くべきではありませんね。

I think that's the right thing to do because it is very offensive for people who are gaining weight or do have stomach problems or can't conceive.

太っている人、お腹の調子が悪い人、妊娠できない人にとっては、とても不快なことだと思うので、それは正しいことだと思います。

I just wanted to say that.

Be careful what you say to people.

I know some people didn't have that intention but like I promise you guys, I will tell you when I'm pregnant and I will tell you when it happens.
