This is the first time I've been this close living here for seven years.

7年間ここに住んでいて、こんなに近くに来たのは初めてです。

So we're at Lake Hollywood park and this place is great because you get the awesome Hollywood sign right behind you.

ハリウッド湖畔の公園にいるのですが、ここはハリウッドサインがすぐ後ろに見えるので最高です。

So it makes for perfect photo opportunities and we could bring the dogs with us.

だから、絶好の撮影ポイントになるし、犬も連れていけるんです。

So it says that there you're supposed to put them on a leash.

だから、そこには鎖に繋いでおくようにと書いてあるんです。

But most dog owners here just have them off leash.

でも、ここではほとんどの飼い主が犬を放し飼いにしているだけです。

I mean I would say the majority of the people have them off leash although they say you will get a fine if they happen to find if you get caught you will get a fine.

つまり、万が一見つかったら罰金を取られるとは言うものの、放し飼いにしている人が大半だと思うのです。

So just keep note of that.

だから、その点だけは注意してください。

We have read reviews online that somebody did get fine but we don't know how much they just say hefty fine.

誰かが罰金を受け取ったというレビューをネットで読みましたが、高額な罰金と言われるだけで、いくらなのかはわかりません。

Yeah.

Now I'm curious how much is how much is this fine if anybody knows please let us know.

We had no trouble finding parking.

駐車場には困らなかった。

It's just a side street here.

ここはただの横丁です。

There's not, I don't even know if there's like an actual parking lot but it does say like when you come up here you actually go through a really nice neighborhood in Hollywood.

実際の駐車場があるかどうかもわかりませんが、この辺りまで来ると、ハリウッドの本当に良い地区を通ることになります。

It's very cute and charming and you're almost like there's something up here and then once you pass through that neighborhood then you see the reservoir.

とてもかわいくて、魅力的で、ここに何かあるんじゃないかと思わせるような、その界隈を抜けると貯水池が見えてくるんです。

Like Hollywood lake or I guess it's Hollywood like.

ハリウッドの湖のような、ハリウッド的な感じでしょうか。

Yeah so I know you'll be parking on a hill and if you don't know how to parallel park, you better learn because you're gonna have to kill the park.

丘の上に駐車するんだろ？縦列駐車を知らないなら覚えた方がいい駐車場を潰さなきゃならないんだから

So yeah, I do not know how to parallel park.

そうそう、縦列駐車のやり方がわからないんです。

So thank goodness Candies with me.

Anyways, it's a beautiful local park.

とにかく、地元の美しい公園なんです。

Um There's several areas like to lay around and picnic.

ピクニックができるような場所がいくつもあるんです。

It's a playground which is actually kind of closed today I think.

今日はお休みのようですが、遊び場です。

Probably close to the pandemic.

おそらく、パンデミックに近いと思います。

That's a nice playground as well.

それも素敵な遊び場ですね。

It's shaded part of our search for finding things to do in Los Angeles with our dogs.

ロサンゼルスで犬と一緒にできることを探すのに日陰になっています。

This was one that we wanted to do that was on our list and we're so glad we did it because it's so nice here.

これはリストにあったやりたいことの一つだったのですが、ここはとてもいいところなので、やってよかったと思います。

I mean I've been in southern California for seven years now and this is the closest I've gotten to the Hollywood sign.

南カリフォルニアに来て7年になりますが、ハリウッド・サインに一番近づいたのはここなんです。

I've never done the actual hike to the Hollywood sign because I heard it was very strenuous and long and I'm not a very good hiker.

ハリウッド・サインへの実際のハイキングは、とても激しく長いと聞いていたし、私はあまりハイキングが得意ではないので、やったことがありません。

So this is probably as close as I'll ever get and it's really close and it's a beautiful view and you can picnic here and yeah, I love it.

この辺りは、おそらく私がこれから行くところと同じくらい近く、とても美しい景色で、ここでピクニックもできます。

Yeah, so on this end it says rattlesnake area.

こっちの端にはガラガラヘビのエリアと書いてあるね。

Keep out so be careful in the woods around here.

We just found a nice little spot here at the bench.

ちょうどベンチにいい場所を見つけたんだ。

Candy's gonna run around with Zoe to get some energy out.

This is where we parked our car.

ここに車を停めました。

So there's a whole bunch of cars lined up on the street.

だから、道路に車がずらっと並んでいるんです。

There's candy up there.

あそこにはお菓子がある。

We're gonna go up around that corner because we saw some people taking pictures up there of this wine too.

このワインの写真を撮っている人がいたので、あの角のあたりまで行ってみます。

But yeah, look at that.

You can come up here just right up the hill and get an even closer look at the Hollywood sign.

So that's the Hollywood sign.

Even closer you can do some fun trick photography shots.

You guys want climbers.

We got both of them whenever Zoe rock climbs kuma has to try to, she's like I could do that.

ゾーイがロッククライミングをすると、クマが「私にもできそう」と言うので、2匹を飼うことにしたんです。

So down there is the reservoir and then you'll see Los Angeles in the background over there.

その下に貯水池があり、その向こうにロサンゼルスが見えます。

But that's lovely Smog and there's the patrol car.

でも、それは素敵なスモッグで、パトカーがあるんです。

They are serious about patrolling here already saw them not ticket anybody but they yelled at somebody for smoking because you're not supposed to smoke here.

彼らは真剣にここをパトロールしているのですが、誰も切符を切らないのに、誰かがタバコを吸っていると怒鳴っているのを見ました。

Okay, so that was a fun little stop that we did at Lake Hollywood park.

さて、そんなわけで、レイク・ハリウッド・パークで行った楽しい小旅行でした。

So yeah, you can go up the hill a little bit more and that's where I think the majority of the people are taking a picture with the sign.

そうそう、もう少し坂を登っていくと、そこで看板と一緒に写真を撮っている人が大半だと思うんです。

Um but we actually like the park view um with the grass underneath us.

でも、私たちは芝生が下にある公園の景色が好きなんです。

I think that makes for a prettier picture I think and then we noticed that there's a lot of people parking like way before that lake Hollywood park I guess people just love to hike you know, so they parked pretty far and then just hike up to that area if you're a hiker that's what you can do here to.

そして、そのレイクハリウッドパークの手前にたくさんの人が駐車していることに気づきました。

Also we did see the patrol lady and they are hardcore with patrolling there, so do not smoke, you're not supposed to smoke there.

また、私たちはパトロールの女性を見たが、彼らはそこのパトロールで筋金入りだ、だからタバコを吸わないでください。

Um Park the correct way.

Although they were that um was strict about it, I didn't see anyone getting tickets for parking.

umは厳しいということでしたが、駐車違反で切符を切られる人は見かけませんでした。

Candy was more strict about it than the patrol lady was.

キャンディは、パトロールのおばさんよりも厳しかった。

Um But they are patrolling back and forth but they didn't patrol the park like that.

うーん、でも、往復はしているけど、公園内はそんな感じでパトロールしていなかったですね。

We didn't see her get out of the car and scolding anybody for having the dogs off leash.

彼女が車から降りてきて、犬を放し飼いにしている人を叱る姿は見ていない。

So that was a plus.

それがプラスに働いたわけです。

Yeah, that was a nice plus.

ええ、それは嬉しいプラス要素でした。
