  • They're dried for a long time,

  • until they become brown and shriveled.

  • The beans are bundled and crated,

  • and after a while, wrapped in wax paper

  • and placed in airtight containers

  • to keep them safe and fresh.

  • This is what the inside of a vanilla bean looks like.

  • Step one, fold the T-shirts in half.

  • Make sure it's nice and straight.

  • Then, we will measure a thumb's length across.

  • I just can't figure out who.

  • (pig snorts)

  • and I'm speaking to you from Old McDonald's farm.

  • You see, it's because this is the very farm

  • that was made famous by that rhyme,

  • "Old McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O,

  • and on that farm, he had some"-

  • - Cows.

  • - Cows, yes, E-I-E-I-O, with a "moo moo" here.

  • - And a "moo moo" there.

  • - Here a moo, there a moo- - There a moo,

  • everywhere a moo moo. - Everywhere a moo moo.

  • (both laughing)

  • Yes, indeed, Old McDonald does

  • indeed have a farm, E-I-E-I-O.

  • - This is it.

  • - Uh-huh, and I understand, I see

  • that you have a very unusual accent.

  • - Oh, och aye, laddie, that I do.

  • - Would you indeed be Scottish?

  • - Well, with a name like McDonald,

  • you'd think I'm from Calcutta. (laughs)

  • - Yes, okay, now I gather, Mr. McDonald,

  • that I'm out here for a very big story

  • because you have something very, very different

  • and unusual to show us today.

  • - Oh, och aye, that's right, laddie.

  • - And it's something that we have never seen before?

  • - Oh, that's right.

  • - Uh-huh, would you tell us what it is?

  • (cowbell rings)

  • - Yes, yes, go on, Bessie, go on, go on.

  • - That's Bessie, huh?

  • - Yes, it's a spaceship, a spaceship.

  • - A spaceship?

  • - Yes, with a whoosh whoosh here and a whoosh whoosh there,

  • here a whoosh, there a whoosh, everywhere a whoosh whoosh.

  • - Whoosh whoosh, you say?

  • - Yes, whoosh whoosh, that's a sound a spaceship makes

  • when it flies around.

  • - Wow, well-

  • - Och aye.

  • - Okay, well, Old McDonald has the farm

  • and a reported spaceship, but I of course have not seen it.

  • Would you mind describing this reported spaceship

  • for us, Mr. McDonald?

  • - Well, sure, laddie.

  • You see, it's red and it flies through the air

  • and it looks like an upside-down disc,

  • and it... oh, boy, look, there it is!

  • The dog has the spaceship in its mouth.

  • - Wait a minute, uh-

  • - Put that spaceship down!

  • - Wait a second, this is the spaceship you're talking about-

  • - Yes, it's a red spaceship.

  • - Mr. McDonald, this is a Frisbee.

  • - A Frisbee?

  • - That's a Frisbee.

  • - That's our Frisbee. - That's our Frisbee, yeah.

  • - You brought me all the way out here to see a Frisbee?

  • - A Frisbee?

  • - That's a Frisbee.

  • - Frisbee, well... well, okay, okay.

  • So Old McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O,

  • and on that farm, he had a Frisbee.

  • - Yeah.

  • - I said it was something different.

  • - Yeah.

  • - Och, man.

  • - E-I-E-I-O.

  • A spaceship, yeesh.

  • (spaceship warbles)

  • Huh. (cries out)

  • Oh, no.

  • Look at that.

  • (door rattles)

  • - Oh, yip yip yip yip yip yip yip.

  • Uh-huh, uh-huh, yip yip yip yip yip.

  • (aliens yipping)

  • ET?

  • - Uh, no, no, not ET, Kermit the Frog.

  • - Old McDonald had a farm.

  • (aliens yipping)

  • And on his farm he had a frog.

  • (aliens yipping)

  • - Yeah.

  • - [Aliens] E-I-E-I-O.

  • - Yeah, (stammers) with a "help help" here

  • and a "help help" there, here a "help,"

  • there a "help, help, help!" (aliens jabbering)

  • (upbeat fiddle music)

  • - Hey, what's that?

  • - Help!

  • (overlapping chattering) (rooster crows)
