Hi, my name is Nicole, and in this video, I am going to be talking about the five differences, in my opinion, between Korean and American fashion.

こんにちは、私の名前はニコルです。このビデオでは、私の考えでは、韓国とアメリカのファッションの5つの違いについてお話しします。

Now the first one is legs in Korea.

さて、1本目は韓国の足です。

A lot of women wear short shorts and short skirts to show off their legs, which is no problem.

ショートパンツやショートスカートを履いて脚を見せる女性が多いですが、これは問題ありません。

But in America, most people don't show off their legs very much.

しかし、アメリカでは、ほとんどの人があまり脚を見せない。

Maybe they're embarrassed or it's just not a cultural thing, like how it ISS here in Korea.

恥ずかしいというか、文化的なものではないのかもしれませんね、韓国でのＩＳＳのように。

I mean, a lot of people look very nice in it, but it's just not very big in America.

似合う人が多いけどアメリカでは大したことないんだよね

The second one are trends now in America.

2つ目は今のアメリカのトレンドです。

Trends come and go.

流行は行き交います。

And since how big America is not all the trends catch onto everywhere.

そして、アメリカがどのように大きいので、すべての傾向はどこにでも追いつくわけではありません。

So it's very some places have in some places, don't have, like you could be wearing an outfit that is big and New York, and you go thio, California And it's nothing.

So it will probably come there and like the next year, so But in Korea, when a trend comes, everybody wears it and It's just a lot different than it is in America.

Like here in Korea, you go out and many people are wearing the similar outfits and back at home, people rarely wear anything trending that are like other people.

Next one is cleavage or your boob line right here.

次は胸の谷間か、ここにあるおっぱいのライン。

People in Korea, they cover it up.

韓国の人たちは、それを隠蔽するんだよ。

They don't show it off.

彼らはそれを見せびらかさない。

But in America, everybody shows it off.

でも、アメリカでは誰もがそれを見せびらかす。

Some people show it off a little too much and you wanna look away.

ちょっと見せびらかしすぎて目をそらしたくなる人もいますよね。

But it's just there, and it's popular.

でも、そこにあるだけで人気があるんです。

They're just easier and more comfortable for some people.

人によってはもっと簡単で快適なんだよ

But Korea.

しかし、韓国。

Everybody is covered up, and they don't like to show off their trust.

みんな隠蔽されていて、信用を誇示するのが嫌いなんです。

The next one is heels.

次はヒールです。

Now, Korea.

さて、韓国。

Everybody wears like stiletto sky high heels to go out just regularly, and it looks really nice, and they have really cute shoes on.

誰もが定期的に出かけるためだけにスティレットのようなスカイハイヒールを履いていて、それは本当に素敵に見えて、彼らは本当にかわいい靴を履いています。

But in America, when you wear heels, it's only for like weddings or important events or social meetings.

でもアメリカではヒールを履くのは結婚式や重要なイベント、社交辞令のようなものに限られています。

You don't really wear sky high heels when you goto work or when you go out to dinner.

仕事に行く時や外食の時にスカイハイヒールを履くことはあまりないですよね。

I mean, like, when you go clubbing with your girlfriends or things like that, Yeah, of course.

女友達とクラブに行く時とか そうだよね

But not like on a Tuesday night to go eat some chicken.

火曜の夜にチキンを食べに行くようなものではない。

It's not a big thing in America, and last one is being not casual in Korea.

アメリカでは大したことないし、最後のは韓国でさりげなくされている。

You see, a lot of women every day are just up like they're in their best clothes and their wardrobe.

毎日多くの女性が最高の服とワードローブを着ているようにアップしているだけなんですよね。

Best shoes, perfect hair, nice makeup, amazing dress.

最高の靴、完璧な髪、素敵なメイク、素晴らしいドレス。

But in America, girls are more casual.

でもアメリカでは女の子の方がカジュアルなんですよね。

They were jeans and T shirts and no makeup short.

ジーンズにＴシャツでノーメイクショートだった。

Things like that, just comfortable where, like things activewear, like when you play sports and things like that, like sweatpants and just comfortable things.

そのようなものは、ちょうど快適な場所で、物事のアクティブウェアのように、スポーツやそのようなものをプレイするときのように、スウェットパンツのようなものとちょうど快適なもの。

It's just not very common for a girl in America to get all dressed up to go thio her school or to go just like running errands to get groceries.

アメリカの女の子が着飾って学校に行ったり、買い物に行くような感じで行くのはあまり一般的ではありません。

Things like that, just in Korea.

そんな感じのこと、韓国だけで。

It's more common to be all casual up, but in America it's just being like, kind of bumming out just casual, comfortable, easy, close.

カジュアルにするのが一般的ですが、アメリカではカジュアルに、快適に、簡単に、近くに、というような感じです。

So my top five reasons that Korea, fashion and American fashion are different are the legs.

ということで、私が韓国とファッションとアメリカのファッションが違う理由トップ5は脚です。

How Korean girls were shorts and American is not very popular Trends trends here in Korea, everyone follows them and in America, since it's so big, not many people get to them.

いかに韓国の女の子が短パンだったか、アメリカではあまり人気がないか ここ韓国ではトレンドトレンドは誰もが追いかけるもので、アメリカではそれがあまりにも大きいので、多くの人がそれに辿り着くことはありません。

Everybody in America.

アメリカのみんな

Well, mostly everybody shows them off.

まあ、ほとんどの人はみんな見せびらかすんだけどね。

No problem.

問題ありません。

But in Korea, it's very closed up, and nobody does heels.

でも韓国では閉鎖的で誰もヒールをやらないんですよね。

Girls here were very high heels.

ここにいる女の子たちは、とても高いヒールを履いていました。

And in America they were sneakers and flats and being not casual in Korea.

そしてアメリカではスニーカーやペタンコで韓国ではカジュアルではなかった。

And in America, people like to wear softens.

そして、アメリカではソフテンを着るのが好きな人が多いです。
