  • Now.

  • There are three different types of cabin crew interview question that you need to prepare for their our motivational type questions.

  • Interview questions such as Why do you want to be cabin crew?

  • Why are you the best candidate?

  • What can you bring to this role?

  • There are also behavioral or situational.

  • Top question Where you after respond by giving evidence of how you answer the question.

  • So the question might be what's the best example of customer service you have ever seen.

  • Describe a time when you were flexible in a work related scenario.

  • Describe a time when you delivered excellent customer service on Also describe a time when you remain calm in a difficult and pressurized situation, and there are also knowledge based interview questions, and these are questions such as on What challenges is our airline facing right now and how can you help us as cabin crew to overcome these?

  • Okay, some motivation questions, behavioral type and knowledge based into your questions, and that's what we're going to focus on today during this tutorial question.

  • Number one.

  • Why do you want to be cabin crew now?

  • This is a motivational type into the question, and it's probably going to be one of the first questions.

  • Or the second question that you could get asked your in your cabin crew interview.

  • So it's important you get off on the right foot on DDE that you give a unique answer.

  • So how do you give a unique answer to that cabin crew interview question?

  • So when responding to this one, concentrate on covering the following elements.

  • Start off by giving them the main reason why you want to be coming through Now.

  • That might be your ambition.

  • It could be your passion.

  • Or perhaps you have flown with the airline before, and you have been suitably impressed with what you've seen by how the cabin crew operate in the service you received.

  • Think about the suitability of your personal qualities and attributes that are relevant to the job description.

  • So if you think about the personal quarters required the fact that you have to be someone who takes responsibility a positive role model.

  • You know, you enjoy the variety of the role as well.

  • So think about the positive aspects variety, flexibility, working with other people, the responsibility that you will have a cz.

  • Well, also, you need to be someone who enjoys helping others.

  • Okay, Cabin crew are really patient in their role on they have to be able to deliver outstanding customer care.

  • Now, I already alluded to this a few seconds ago.

  • One of the great things to mention within this particular response to the question to the interview question Why'd you want to be cabin crew?

  • Is that you like to be a positive role model andan ambassador for the airline, because the airline can only succeed if cabin crew do a brilliant job.

  • Okay, because the passengers will spend a lot of time of cabin crew and then they will form an impression about the service they have received.

  • So here's my sample Responsive you, By the way.

  • I'm gonna tell you even download these slides and get a copy off the responses during this video.

  • This is something that I wanted to do for a long time.

  • I can remember flying with your airline many years ago and I watched how the cabin crew worked together to make the flight experience perfect.

  • I can also remember one of the camera crew dealing with a passenger who was having a problem with their child.

  • The way she dealt with a situation made me realize cabin crew have so much responsibility and they also need to have a diver Skill set for those reasons are very much want to be part of your team and help you take your brand forward by providing excellent service and care to your passengers.

  • Now, although I enjoy my current job, I would now like a career that is more challenging.

  • That is more varied on exciting.

  • Having studied the job description of cabin crew in detail, I believe my own personal qualities would suit the role of cabin crew when I get great satisfaction from working in a team environment where everybody is working towards the same goal Now I understand that delivering a high level of service to the customer is a priority in this industry, and this is something I would enjoy doing.

  • So that's a great solid response.

  • And it covers those other things that I mentioned before talks about the positive aspects, how your skill set matches it as well.

  • And the reasons why you want to join their particular airline next cabin crew into question.

  • Describe the time when you dealt with a difficult customer pretty much a guarantee question.

  • Now, don't forget, this is a situational type question on how you respond to this is using the star technique.

  • You tell the interview panel the situation you're in the task that needed to be done, the action that you took and then the result.

  • So when I give you the answer to this question, we're gonna break it down in situation task action results to make it easy for you.

  • Okay, here we go.

  • In my current job, I was covering a customer care assistant during sickly, a customer approached the desk to make a complaint about the poor service she had received the previous date.

  • It was my job to do with the task effectively collecting as much information as possible on resolving the issue to the satisfaction of the customer whilst also following company complaints.

  • Procedure's.

  • I started off by listening carefully to the complaint while showing effective listening skills and soft body language.

  • After I listened to the complaint, I asked a number of probing questions to get to the bottom of the situation, then apologize to the customer and explain how I was going to resolve the situation.

  • I finally asked them if they were happy with my proposed resolution, to which they confirmed they were.

  • The result was a success is I managed to resolve the complaint to their satisfaction.

  • I replaced the faulty goods they had received on also issued a credit note due to the inconvenience that have been caused.

  • The customer was very happy with the resolution and thanked me for my professionalism.

  • Now you can see that this response that I've given is in detail and it is using situation, task action result and that ensures that you provide evidence of when you've bean in this type of situation because what they're doing with that question describe a time when you don't have a difficult customer is.

  • It's basically the same as what you were doing when your cabin group.

  • And if you've got evidence of when you've already done that, then you will be held toe cross match those skills within the cabin crew roll.

  • Okay, Next question.

  • This is a knowledge based interview.

  • Question.

  • What challenges will our airline face in the future and I could use coming through?

  • Help us to overcome these.

  • So this is what I would think about.

  • This type of question serves two main purposes for the interview panel.

  • The first purpose is that it assesses how much you understand about the airline industry in terms of its competitiveness.

  • So the airline industry is really, really competitive.

  • And cabin crew have to do a brilliant job because customers, all flight passengers will only come back if cabin crew do a brilliant job now.

  • The second purpose is that it assesses your awareness of how influential cabin crew star far in their role.

  • So cabin crew of some of the most important employees of an airline.

  • If passengers have an unpleasant experience during the flight, then they're unlikely to return to that airline because they got choice there are so many different airlines to choose from on.

  • Obviously, competition is fierce, so staying ahead of the game and providing an exceptional level of service is really important to the airline.

  • Now, even if the airline is low budget in terms of its air fair price, it is still important that the camera crew staff are friendly, helpful and totally customer focused.

  • So here's my sample response.

  • The airline industry is extremely competitive and the expectations of the customer is always on the increase.

  • People generally want to pay less for their service, but they still expect a high level of customer service now, in addition to the competitiveness of the modern day market, there is also the issue of security on the financial implications this has in terms of additional training on advanced security measures.

  • The cost of fuel and salary expenses will continue to increase, which will undoubtedly influence the cost of the product.

  • Therefore, it is important that cabin crew provide the highest level of customer service at all times.

  • Customers are prepared to pay that little bit extra for a high quality service and cabin crew are responsible for delivering it, ensuring the customer satisfied with the service will mean they are far more likely to come back to the airline time and time again.

  • More importantly, however, they will recommend the airline to their friends and relatives.

  • So that is an intelligent response to that question.

  • And it shows that you understand the impact you have on the role and the fact that passengers will come back.

  • So other things that you might consider when you when responding to that interview question you might think about the carbon footprint and the impact of air travel on climate change.

  • Taking payments on board as we progressively move away from a cash based society, ensuring all routes of profitable and managing the increased demand for flight.

  • So those are the things that you could could consider.
