But that's not really what I want to do with this thing with this channel or anything else.

Over the years, I think we've had a weird relationship with TV.

It seemed like a goal to get coffee on TV, to get specialty coffee on TV, to talk about what we're doing toe a really wide audience.

The problem is that every time we do TV, we end up compromising.

We never get to say what we want to say, because TV isn't really the right medium to talk about things where you really care about something. 00:00:57.120 --> 00:01:1.660 TV is for everyone and kind of therefore, for no one. 00:01:2.380 --> 00:01:8.290 It's not designed as a format to speak in a really passionate and focused way. 00:01:8.940 --> 00:01:11.060 It's always gonna require being watered down.

And I've enjoyed making TV and there's some fun TV project coming up that little moments.

What I realized is that YouTube it's something interesting.

If I want a TV show, I can have a TV show and I can write it and I can edit it and it can be about whatever I want it to be about.

And it's completely compromised.

The idea that I can have my own TV show.

It's kind of appealing.

I get to say the things I want to say in a way that I want to say them, and that's what I want to do.

I want to get better at this so that I can tell the stories I want to tell, share the ideas that I want to share and do it to an audience that is interested because I think if you are good at what you do, it will find an audience, and I think the Internet has taught us that over and over again.
