How difficult has it been for you?

Well, I mean, it's, uh, you know, it's been a little bit of the unknown for most of the summer.

I think, uh, you know, I pretty much stand, uh, same where I left off.

You know, I said that, you know, I'd be willing Thio lift my notary closet fast, and so far I haven't been asked.

I'm here with the guys.

I think it's, you know, it's a great day to raise money for charity and get to spend some time with the boys.

So, you know, it's it's it's good you haven't been formally asked or informally asked about it.

Uh, I mean, obviously we all want to know what the future holds, I think.

But, you know, sometimes these things take longer than others.

I mean, I don't think it's it's the worst thing in the world, you know.

I mean, I got some friends on the team, lots of respect for the organization.

And I've had some great times here, so I mean, there's no animosity whatsoever.

And, you know, Mike's got to do this thing, and you know, I'm here and I'm enjoying my time.

Your mind is this thing being held up by the city?

I don't know.

I mean, it's tough to say, I'm sure maybe it has something to do with that.

You know, when you want to see what happens and stuff like that.

But, you know, for me, mostly I thinkit's about just getting ready to play.

I can't really be a focused on what's gonna happen down the road, because we don't know.

Things change a lot in this business.

You know?

I want to make sure that no matter what happens, I'm ready and contributing.

You know, the best we can revisit the investment.

Are you prepared to play here for the season?

Yeah.

I mean, like I said, I'm just getting ready like any other normal season.

Um, we're working hard.

Uh, prepare to play, and, uh, whether that's year or somewhere else, you know, I'm gonna make the most out of it.

You know, I've always said I want to put the team ahead of me, and I don't want to become a distraction.

So I want to come here to work, be a good teammate, you know?

And like I said, I mean, I got a lot of good friends on this team, So it's gonna make that much easier for me different in this situation because, you know, it's ah, well, I mean, uh, like I said, I think the fact that you know, I have a lot of good friends on the team, you know, even in the staff on the coaching staff in organization, it makes it a lot easier for me to be here.

And, you know, that's why I'm here today and didn't really hesitating in deciding whether I should come or not.

I've never I've never given a list of teams, and as far as that side of the business is concerned, I think it's time we leave that more up to Mike through this thing and I don't really want to be talking about your teams right now.

I think I'm here with Vancouver and I think it's a bit, uh, disrespectful towards my teammates and the organization to be talking about other places.
