  • Our unique chemical process, then develops the image into a Polaroid picture.

  • Fond memories is shaking it.

  • You shake it Thio in order to expedite the process.

  • I know it's gonna be a lot of people out there that are, like, What?

  • Jack, Just go be on house.

  • Ship this conversation.

  • Conserve no purpose anymore.

  • Looks like a robot.

  • Yeah.

  • You could have seen something like this every day.

  • So who?

  • Okay, the lens there.

  • 35 millimeter Polaroid, three element lens.

  • And this is like a little caf.

  • Big red button on the front, some various led ease.

  • This looks like where your your actual film is gonna print out, and then a giant power button in this location over here.

  • All right.

  • Now, I'm gonna look at the apple this point so I don't screw anything up.

  • I believe it's in Beta Alfa is not ready to ship yet, so I should say that to be clear, we have a wonderful Otis photo there.

  • Okay, Let's Yeah.

  • All right.

  • We'll go that exposed when ready as I hold it there.

  • See what happens.

  • Can you Can you make that out place your phone on the lab, and there's the two little dots so you can align it to these two little dots.

  • Those two little dots right there.

  • I gotta make sure this thing even have power right now.

  • Whoa.

  • Okay.

  • Did you That was interesting.

  • Did you see the light turned on in the back, too?

  • Oh, I did not expect that.

  • 1978.

  • Who?

  • Bling?

  • I'm definitely gonna have to load some of this.

  • I type filming here.

  • Ah, gently pull down the film door.

  • Mmm.

  • That brings me back to spell it out alone.

  • Brings me back.

  • Well, the chemicals.

  • Oh, man.

  • Oh, baby.

  • Okay, we got it.

  • Oh, mechanical things.

  • Everything is so just strictly digital these days.

  • So to see anything mechanical on the table, I mean, beyond us getting the robot we're looking for from Boston Dynamics.

  • They get back to you yet?

  • How dare they that come off?

  • Okay, let's line this up.

  • Let's just see what happens.

  • You could take this to a party, Will?

  • Yeah, it's on the gold.

  • You'll be such a fun guy.

  • Like Kawhi.

  • Leonard.

  • What's what?

  • Have you made a noise?

  • Hit the button.

  • Jack says Oh, baby.

  • So exciting.

  • That's easy.

  • So I pull this out.

  • All right.

  • Leave it for a second.

  • I can't remember.

  • Pull around Behind you.

  • I know it takes a minute.

  • Do the flappy thing After five seconds, lift the film shield, you see?

  • Got to read the instructions in life.

  • Don't shake the photo, Will.

  • How?

  • Very Don't shake.

  • Well, that's an urban legend.

  • You gotta shield it from light.

  • We have so much light in here.

  • We don't know how to party at all color pictures.

  • Take 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Jack.

  • Otis is coming through regardless, whether you like it or not.

  • Below how art.

  • So you can get here.

  • Well, that you get real problem, Mosaic.

  • Yeah.

  • Then there's a similar number of options for a triple.

  • All the way up to what?

  • 69?

  • Oh, my God.

  • Look at that.

  • Oh, that's so now you got a poster.

  • You can change the exposure and color amount I believe it to default for right now.

  • You know what you could do If you want to get riel meta, you start, you snap a photo of this photo and then that you've seen that before?

  • Yeah, Well, hold it up here.

  • We're gonna line it up.

  • All right?

  • So a couple of different print outs here, it takes a little time.

  • So you're not printing these out and handing them off straight away.

  • I mean, you could, but the actual image doesn't really start to show up until, like, 10 minutes.

  • It's a bit different for the black and white versus the color.

  • You don't want to expose them to light right away.

  • You should flip them upside down during the majority of that initial process of them developing essentially.

  • So you.

  • Also, there's this little film thing that pops out from the front.

  • You want a lift that gently and pull the image out.

  • So I have a couple of different printouts here, others artwork that I found online.

  • So it it creates a really interesting proposition.

  • Here you can.

  • It's like an analog version of anything digital that you want to supply.

  • So some of these images I just grabbed from the Web see Willie do there.

  • That's a hidden really do that.

  • So where's Waldo?

  • Lesa wears.

  • Will he do so?

  • That's pretty cool.

  • Of course we got Otis over there.

  • Gotta have the monolith.

  • I also used multiple smartphones on here, so I did the big one.

  • The Max version.

  • Smaller phones as well.

  • It will resize the image for a perfect exposure and even, like put it off kilter ever so slightly if it has to.

  • If you don't line it up perfectly, so that's sort of how it operates.

  • You know, this would be cool for a party for a special event you want to commemorate.

  • It's not going to replace your digital life cycle.

  • Replace instagram, but it's just a different take as kind of how it works.
