  • will make a huge difference to your preparation.

  • I will give you a number of interview questions that are likely to come up and more importantly,

  • high scoring, unique answers.

  • A very warm welcome to this tutorial.

  • My name is Richard McMunn.

  • That's me there in the center, the bald chap!

  • I've been helping people for about 20 years now to pass their interviews and I always

  • do that by focusing on giving you top scoring answers you can't find anywhere else.

  • On that basis, please do SUBSCRIBE to the channel so you don't miss out by clicking

  • the red button.

  • I would personally very much appreciate your support if he gave the video a LIKE, that

  • always motivates me to create more content for you.

  • (Thank you very much.)

  • Okay, let's get straight into it.

  • Those internal job interview questions and answers.

  • So question number one.

  • What attracted you to this new job within the company?

  • So, what has attracted you to this new job within the company?

  • Here we go.

  • Here's my sample answer.

  • The main thing that has attracted me to this new role, is that fact the skills and

  • qualities needed to excel within the position, are a clear match for my own.

  • As you know, I am ambitious, enthusiastic and I genuinely care about the future of this

  • company.

  • The role I am applying for is one I feel very excited about, and I believe within it, I

  • will be able to make a significant and positive difference to the company as it grows, develops

  • and expands over the coming years.”

  • That’s a great answer.

  • It shows that you are ambitious, you are enthusiastic, and also more importantly, you want to stay

  • with this company.

  • Now, before I go onto question number two and the remainder of the internal job interview

  • questions and answers, you can either pause the video and write the answers down.

  • However, if you don't want to go through that trouble, if you wait till a certain point

  • in the video, I will tell you where you can download these and all of the other answers

  • to internal job interview questions!

  • Interview question number two.

  • In your opinion, what could we do better as an organization?

  • This is a really difficult question to answer, simply because you do not want to be critical

  • about any specific individual, or about any manager.

  • But also, you don't want to say, well, there’s not really anything you could do to improve.

  • You want to come up with something.

  • Now, my advice, when answering this question, is to think aboutopportunitiesthe

  • company that you're being interviewed for, you're currently working, for could tap into,

  • to expand sales or improve customer leads.

  • So here's my suggested answer to the internal job interview question: In your opinion, what

  • could we do better as an organization who we get?

  • To be honest with you, overall, I believe the company is creative, forward-thinking

  • and innovative, and it obviously has a very bright future ahead.

  • I have considered the different ways the company could improve, but the fact we have a strong

  • leadership and management team made it difficult to come up with new ideas.

  • Having said that, if I did have to come up with new and improved ways of working, I feel

  • the company could possibly look to tap into alternative methods of online marketing to

  • generate new leads and potential sales.

  • Online marketing opportunities are changing all of the time, and this is something we

  • could potentially capitalize on as an organization moving forward, to ensure we stay ahead of

  • the competition.

  • And I would personally be willing to look into that to help the organization move forward

  • continually.”

  • So you are giving something which is an opportunity, which is important.

  • You're not criticizing anybody or anything, but you think we could improve by tapping

  • in to different opportunities.

  • And I'm willing to look into that if you want me to.

  • Question number three of your internal job interview.

  • What's your favorite part of coming to work every day?

  • My favorite part of coming to work each day, has to be both the people I am working

  • with, and also the challenging tasks and projects I have been a part of since I joined the company.

  • The team I currently work within is innovative and positive, and it doesn’t matter what

  • project or challenge we are working on, we always pull together to overcome any issues

  • and do a great job for our manager.

  • I am naturally a positive and forward-thinking person, so to work with like-minded people

  • is something I am very grateful for.”

  • What I like about this answer, is you are focusing on the organization's most important

  • resource and asset; which is people.

  • You are demonstrating that you love working with people, but also you like the challenges

  • that your role presents, and you're prepared to take on bigger and more tougher challenges

  • within this role that you're being interviewed for.

  • Next question.

  • Where do you see yourself in five yearstime?

  • “I see myself 100% with this companythere’s no doubt about that.

  • Whatever happens today, I am fully committed to our values and the company mission, and

  • I see my future right here with you.

  • It’s not often you find a company to work for where you feel you are being pushed, developed

  • and supported within your role, and on that basis, providing you are happy with my future

  • work, which I think you will be, I plan to still be here for sure.”

  • That's a really good, solid, concise and confident answer to where you will be in five years

  • time.

  • And I like the fact that you're saying, regardless of what happens today, you are still committed

  • to them.

  • You are a passionate and caring employee.

  • Next question.

  • A difficult one.

  • What do you not enjoy about your current role?

  • Now you are being interviewed for a new job.

  • But I want to know, what do you not like about your current role?

  • Here's my suggested answer.

  • It's quite a clever answer.

  • That’s a good question.

  • There’s nothing I actually dislike about my role specifically, or the team I am a part

  • of.

  • However, the only thing that frustrates me on occasions is dealing with external companies

  • and stakeholders.

  • I have found, on occasions, it takes a long time to get an answer from some external organizations

  • when the completion of my own task or project is dependent on them coming back to me with

  • an answer.

  • Having said that, I have developed strong interpersonal skills and I always focus on

  • building strong relationships so people do come back to me as soon as possible, and they

  • also understand the importance of their response to my own work.”

  • So what you're saying there, this is why it's clever, you are not saying it's anything to

  • do with your particular role or the organization you're working for that you don't enjoy.

  • It’s when you have to deal with people outside; you are saying you set really high standards.

  • You want to get your job done really quickly.

  • And as you and I know, when you're sometimes dealing with companies, external companies,

  • you have to wait a long time for an answer, and that can be frustrating.

  • So I would use that during your answer.

  • I've got some more questions to run through.

  • Please stick around.

  • But if you want to download my full set of internal job interview questions and high

  • scoring answers, there is a link that’s appeared there in the top right hand corner

  • of the video clip that takes you through to my website, PassMyInterview.com, and it will

  • tell you how you can download those questions and answers.

  • At the very least, the questions I recommend you get the answers to.

  • Further internal job interview questions are: what's the most challenging thing you'll find

  • about this new position?

  • Make sure you read the advert, the job description and think about the kind of thing that you

  • would find most challenging.

  • Next question.

  • Tell me about a time when you had communication issues with a member of your team or a different

  • department within the company?

  • What they're looking there, is for you to say what the situation was, but how you overcome

  • it?

  • How do you adapt your style of communication to overcome this challenge?

  • Have you ever had a disagreement with your manager?

  • We've all had disagreements with our managers.

  • If you want a top scoring answer, again, click that link in the top right hand corner and

  • it'll take you to my website where you can get a top-scoring answer.

  • How would your current work colleagues describe you?

  • Well, brilliant, of course.

  • But, you know, we have to be honest there when we are answering that question.

  • How would your current work colleagues describe you?

  • Don't forget, they will have probably spoken to your manager or your work colleagues, so

  • make sure you give an honest answer!

  • Talk me through a project that didn't go smoothly?

  • And they're looking there for determination and persistence to pull through and get things

  • done.

  • What issues did you experience and how did you overcome them (through that particular

  • project that you've just talked about)?

  • If you want all of my answers to those questions and more, click the link below the video or

  • in the top right hand corner.

  • Go through to my website PassMyInterview.com.
