They're doing some amazing things.

彼らは素晴らしいプロジェクトに取り組んでいるんだ。

Not just the organization, who... the people they're supporting.

支援している組織とか団体とかだけではなくて、たくさんの人が集まっててね。

And, um, I get to the event and I speak for like 10 minutes.

で、僕はそのイベントに行って、話をしたんだ。10 分くらいかな。

And I get off stage and I'm waving at the crowd.

ステージを降りたあと、人ごみに流されちゃってね。

And I'm walking backwards off the stage, moving to the backstage area.

後ろ向きに進んでっちゃって、バックステージの方に。

And then I crash into, like, a person.

それで、なんか人みたいなのにぶつかちゃったんだ。

And as I crash into them, I see the eyes of people looking at me.

ぶつかっていったときに、周りの人が僕を見ている様子が見えたんだけど、

And everyone was like, "Oh shit, what have you done!"

みんな「あぁ、最悪。何やってんだよ！」みたいな感じで。

You know what I mean?

分かる？

And I'm like, calm down.

それで僕は、まあ落ち着いてよみたいな感じで、

Humans bump humans all the time.

人ってぶつかるものでしょ、って。

And I turn, and the person I bumped into was Barack Obama.

それで振り向いてみたら、僕がぶつかった人が、バラク・オバマさんだったの。

Right?

分かる？

Yeah, but like physically, like...

そう。でも実際はなんか…

When I say bump, I mean like bump.

ぶつかったって言ったけど、本当にどーんって感じでさ。

Like, you know?

なんか、分かる？

And so I turn and then he's like...

それで振り向いたら、オバマさんはまるで…

Ah... wha...

え…、何…？みたいな感じで。

But listen to me.

でも、聞いてくれる？

His hands are up and he's like, "watch where you go."

オバマさんは両手を上げて、「気をつけて通ってくれよ」みたいな感じ。

And then, yeah, he says watch where you walk.

そう、「気を付けて歩くんだよ」って言ったんだ。

And so I turn and I was like...

だから、僕は…

Hey man, I'm walking over here.

「ちょっと、僕ここ歩いてるんですけど」って。

And you should've seen everyone's face, they were like, "oh shit!"

みんなの顔を見せたかったよ。「あぁ、なんてことを！」みたいな顔しててさ。

Because I think they thought I didn't recognize him or I didn't know who he was.

僕がオバマさんだと気づいていなかったか、誰だか知らないんだと思ったみたい。

You can see people like, "that's the president of the United States of America!"

みんなの様子想像つくでしょ。「その人はアメリカ合衆国大統領だった人だよ！」って。

I was like, yo, but calm down.

だから僕は、みんなちょっと落ち着いてよみたいに、

And so I was like...

こんな感じで…

Hey, how are you, Mr. President?

「どうも、ご機嫌いかがですか、大統領？」って言ったんだ。

I haven't seen you in a while.

「しばらくお見かけしていませんでした」って。

Then he's like, "I'm doing good."

そしたら大統領は、「元気にやっているよ」って。

"How you been, you good?"

「君はどうだい？元気かい？」って聞かれたから、

I'm like, yeah, I'm good.

もう、「はい！元気ですよ～」って言って。

And I'm looking at his face.

それで、オバマさんの顔を見ながら、

And I didn't intend this, but I'm looking into his eyes and I'm speaking to him.

そのつもりはなかったんだけど、彼の目を見つめて話しかけてたんだ。

And in that moment I realize...like he's looking really, really good.

で、その瞬間気づいたんだ…。オバマさん、めちゃめちゃシュッとしててさ。

Like his skin is looking fuller.

肌ツヤが良く見えたんだ。

And his...do you know what I mean?

分かるでしょ？

No, he just doesn't look as stressed as he was.

前みたいにストレスいっぱいって感じじゃなくなっててさ。

And so it slipped out.

で、つい口を滑らせちゃったんだ。

I didn't plan it at all.

全然予定外なんだけど。

So I was speaking to him.

オバマさんと話していて、

He's like, how you doing, da da da da da.

オバマさんは「最近どうだい」とか、

And then he says that and I was like... I was like...

まあ色々聞いてくれてたんだけど、そしたら僕は…、なんていうか…、

You're looking cute, Mr. President.

「大統領、キュートですね」って言っちゃったんだ！

He goes, uh, well, thank you, thank you.

オバマさんは、「あぁ、そう？ありがとう。ありがとう。」って感じで。

I was like, no, no, I meant like, you look good...uh...

僕の方は、「違う、違うんです。お加減良さそうですねって言いたかったんです！」って。
