  • Our next guest may have perfect attendance.

  • But one thing she does not have is a perfect attendance pencil.

  • Take a look.

  • Yesterday, I put my pencil--

  • my pink, perfect attendance pencil-- in the sharpen box.

  • But when I unpacked, I went to go get my pencil.

  • And guess what I saw?

  • Nothing but yellow, plain old pencils.

  • Somebody-- and I know who--

  • stole my perfect attendance pencil,

  • who didn't even earn one, because they were in Canada!

  • And then Reese jumped in and said, yeah, she earned it.

  • You didn't earn it.

  • You were in Canada!

  • And then-- well, she didn't say it like that.

  • She was like, you were in Canada.

  • Your cute little outfit, and your cute little bows

  • in your hair, and your cute little hair,

  • and your cute little self.

  • Thank you, Ellen.

  • Hi.

  • So OK, tell me about this.

  • This seems very upsetting.

  • So you had the perfect attendance pencil.

  • And then it was gone.

  • And on a scale of 1 to 10, how mad were you?

  • I would say 10, because I earned the pencil,

  • and I really liked that pencil.

  • I was pink, and then it had a pink eraser.

  • It was real big, because I never used the eraser.

  • And it had rainbows, and it said "Attendance Award."

  • Oh, wait.

  • You had never used the eraser?

  • No.

  • Wow.

  • So you never made a mistake?

  • That's amazing.

  • Anyway.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • So is this the first time you've had a perfect attendance

  • pencil?

  • No, I get one every year.

  • Oh, you do?

  • Wow, that's amazing.

  • [CHEERING]

  • 00:01:45,070 --> 00:01:45,990 That's amazing.

  • OK, and so talk me through this.

  • When did you realize it was missing?

  • So we sat in the cafeteria, and then we went to the class.

  • And I unpacked, got my morning workout,

  • and then I went to look in the--

  • You got what?

  • My morning workout.

  • Oh, I thought you were--

  • your morning workout.

  • Like, you did sit-ups and stuff.

  • OK, you got your morning workout.

  • OK, go ahead.

  • And then I looked in the sharpen bin,

  • where my pencil usually is, and it was gone.

  • And then I went to my desk just to use the plain pencil.

  • I looked behind me, and I saw Lizzie had

  • my perfect attendance pencil.

  • OK.

  • And then did you say, Lizzie, can I have my pencil back?

  • Yes, I did, but she said, just go get a regular pencil.

  • It's just a pencil.

  • I found it in the pencil bin.

  • Right, yeah.

  • But it wasn't just a regular pencil to you.

  • It was a special pencil.

  • Yeah.

  • So how did you finally get the pencil back?

  • What happened?

  • Well, I asked for it back right before lunch.

  • She said, sure.

  • But she lost the pencil somewhere.

  • And then she said after recess, but I never

  • got it back after recess.

  • OK.

  • Autumn found it the next day, and then I

  • told her it was mine.

  • She gave it straight to me.

  • Oh, Ana gave it straight to you.

  • That's really nice of Ana.

  • Autumn.

  • I'm sorry.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • 00:03:15,850 --> 00:03:17,560 I was thinking of Ana, who--

  • she's no longer there.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • Autumn.

  • Autumn.

  • Yeah, that was very sweet of her, right?

  • Mm-hmm.

  • Yeah, good.

  • OK, and so you're not there today.

  • Today is Wednesday, and you're supposed to be at school.

  • So I got you a letter that you can bring back, because you

  • want perfect attendance.

  • So I just signed a letter that tells them

  • why you weren't there, OK?

  • Thank you, Ellen.

  • OK, because I want you to have perfect attendance.

  • OK.

  • I got something for your entire class,

  • because they're going to be so jealous that you're here.

  • Because everybody is going to be like, oh, Taylor's on Ellen,

  • and we didn't get to go.

  • So I wanted to give them something.

  • So let me show you what I'm going

  • to get for the whole class--

  • all kinds of supplies, and pencils, and different things

  • for everybody.

  • They're going to thank you so much for that.

  • Yeah.

  • Lizzie and Autumn are going to be like, right on, girl.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • And then I got something for you,

  • too-- something really special that I

  • think you're going to like.

  • You're not going to lose this.

  • [CHEERING]

  • 00:04:20,884 --> 00:04:21,836 Yeah.

  • Look.

  • 00:04:25,260 --> 00:04:27,110 You're not going to lose that one, are you?

  • No.

  • No.

  • We're going to have to get you a big backpack, though.

  • Yeah.

  • All right.

  • All right, we'll be right back.

  • Before we go, I want to talk to Taylor about one more thing.

  • Taylor, will you come back down here?

  • [CHEERING]

  • [MUSIC PLAYING]

  • 00:04:49,952 --> 00:04:51,660 I forgot, I was going to ask you what you

  • want to do when you get older.

  • Do you know what you want to be when you grow up?

  • Yes, I do.

  • What do you want to do?

  • I want to be a science teacher.

  • A s--

  • I like science.

  • Yeah?

  • Yeah.

  • What do you like about science?

  • You get to do all these cool experiments.

  • Yeah.

  • And you never know what's going to happen,

  • but something cool always happens.

  • Yeah, science is very cool.

  • That's great.

  • Well, here's what I want to do.

  • I love that you care about school so much.

  • And Shutterfly loves that you have perfect attendance,

  • so they're going to give you a $10,000 scholarship

  • to make sure--

  • [CHEERING]

  • --you go to college.

  • I want to thank, Charles Barkley, the Jonas Brothers.

  • I'll see you tomorrow.

  • Be kind to one another.

  • Bye.

  • Hi, I'm Andy.

  • Ellen asked me to remind you to subscribe to her channel

  • so you can see more awesome videos,

  • like videos of me getting scared or saying embarrassing things,

  • like ball peen hammer, and also some videos of Ellen

  • and other celebrities, if you're into that sort of thing.

  • [SHOUTS]

  • [SCREAMS] [BLEEP] God!

  • [BLEEP]

Our next guest may have perfect attendance.
