I have never wanted to become a world famous artist.

めっちゃ世界的な夢とか

This is why I always think I need to do something while I'm 16.

知ってる人は知ってる みたいな人になりたい

I know I need to create something now.

だからこそ 16歳とか15歳のうちに

I've been doing ballet since childhood.

That's how I started liking make-up.

昔からバレエをやってて

お化粧が好きになって

I feel like I'm being myself.

お化粧していた方が気分も上がるし

This is actually the first time I have made clothes,

自分っていう感じがするから

it's so much fun, I feel so excited when I'm doing it.

I love clothes because we can express our emotions

but there are things that I don't like.

People make rules for everything here.

なんでもルール決められちゃったり

We are forced to stick to rules that we can never follow.

ぜったい守れないようなルールとか

I don't like that.

決めつけられるのがすごく嫌

Tokyo is a difficult place for skateboarding.

東京はけっこう スケボーがやりにくい場所

We were once skating in front of Harajuku Station.

原宿の駅の前のところでやってて

The police then arrived 10 minutes later.

警察が来て

My friend had a Swiss Army Knife for fixing skateboards,

そのとき友達がスケボーで使う 十徳ナイフを持ってて

they said it was subject to the Firearm and Sword Possession

で 銃刀法違反って

control law.

夜の12時くらいに捕まって

He was arrested at around 12am and wasn't released until about 7am.

朝７時くらいまで帰ってこれなくて

I wish someone made a free skatepark that was open all evening.

スケートパーク 夜まで空いてる

Japan is quite behind on everything,

無料のところとか 作ったりして欲しいっすね

even the gender and sexuality.

日本はいろんなことが 遅れていると思う

'Cause you never see gay couples, lesbian couples

ジェンダーやセクシュアリティとか

on the streets of Tokyo.

東京の街中で ゲイやレズビアンの カップルをあまり見ることもないよね

I want that to change.

私はそれを変えていきたい

I wish this was an era where people accepted different identities,

いろんな人がいることが 当たり前の時代であって欲しいけど

but society still rejects people who are different.

まわりは割と自分と違うものを はじく体質があったりとか

I hope we'll build a society where people respect each other more.

もっとみんながみんな それぞれお互いを認め合えるような

Then I think life will be colourful and much more fun!

関係性を持てたら

Being a 16-year-old is...

もっとカラフルに楽しくなって 行くんじゃないかなって思います

a 15-year-old is still a child,

16歳っていうのは 15歳までは子どもだと思っていて

then a 17-year-old is an adult.

17歳からは大人っていう 勝手なイメージがあって

That's just my understanding.

いろいろ迷って 自分探求の時期みたいな

It's a period of life that we suffer and undergo lots of self-exploration.

今自分がやっているのは 「パルクール」というスポーツです

I practice a sport called parkour.

やっぱり何かやってる時 自分が一番ストレス発散できるというか

When I'm doing this, I release lots of stress.

一番楽しい瞬間

It's the most enjoyable moment of my life.

K-１に出て チャンピオンになりたいなと思ってます

I want to become the champion in K-1 [mixed martial arts].

16歳って若いと思っていなくて

I think being 16 is not young,

プロで高校生とかも全然いて

there are high school students who are already pros.

始めたのが自分は遅いと思うんで

So I think I started a bit late

みんなには けっこう若いと言われるんですけど

even though everyone says I'm still young.

もっと努力して

But I disagree. I want to work even harder

早いうちにと思っています

and become a professional as soon as possible.

私はいま ウェルビーイングに すごく興味があって

I'm really interested in health and wellbeing,

みんなが精神的 身体的に 健康でいることが重要だと思う

making everyone healthy with themselves,

だから わたしたちを 助けてくれている地球を

physically and emotionally.

傷つけてはいけないと思う

That's why we shouldn't be hurting the planet,

わたしたち 若い世代にも 発言の権利はあるし意見を言うべき

because it's kind of helping us in a way.

強みは ポジティブなところ

So we should be paying it back.

どんなにネガティブなことを 言われても勝ちます

I think that we have a right to say this stuff,

16歳ってまだ先があるっていうことが

and a right to have a voice as well.

いいなって思います

My strength is... I'm very positive.

寝るときに 今日一日を楽しくするために

I don't lose against any of the negative people.

頑張ったかもしれないなって思って 寝れたら最高だなって

16 year olds...

自分の好きなことをする

...still have a future ahead. I think that's wonderful.

時間が有り余ってるから なんでもできるんですよ

When I'm in bed, I think to myself,

一日中図書館に行って

'I made such a great effort to make today special.'

いっぱい情報を集めたり

If I think that before I fall asleep, then that's awesome for me.

アイドル応援しに行ったりしています

I just do what I want to do.

「マジカル・パンチライン」という アイドルグループをやっています

I can do anything I want, because I have plenty of spare time.

結構 ロック調の 激しい曲が多いんですけど

I can stay in the library for a whole day and do some research,

その中にも魔法チックな曲も あったりする感じです

or I can go out to support my favourite musicians and pop idols.

アイドルになりたい子とか

We are a pop group called MAGiCAL PUNCHLiNE.

自分にもできるんだっていう

A lot of our songs have hard rock elements in them

勇気を与えられたらいいなと思います

but a lot of them also include magic too.

あとは たくさんの方に

I hope we encourage people who also want to become pop stars.

笑顔を届けられたらいいなって思います

We want to make people smile as much as possible.

SNSとかがけっこう発達して

Social networks have grown rapidly.

自分のことを教室よりも 大きく広いところに発信ができるし

We can share our stories to a world that is larger than our classroom.

自分の言いたいことを言える世代だなって

Our generation can openly share opinions.

国際ボランティア同好会に入ってて

I joined an [environmental] international volunteer club.

初めてマーチに参加した時に

When I went to a demonstration for the first time,

環境問題って他人ごとじゃないんだな ていうのに気づいて

I realised environmental issues are not just other people's problems.

環境問題にも取り組まなきゃって思いました

I thought, 'I must get involved in this.'

今は全然できてないんですけど

I haven't achieved this yet,

友達と一緒に渋谷を回って

but I want to go around Shibuya with my friends,

どこにゴミが多いのかを調べて

and research which areas have the most rubbish

マップを作ろうって 計画してます

to create a map of them.

今の現状に満足せずに

We should never be satisfied with the status quo,

ちゃんと未来を生きる 自分たちのためにも

we must take action ourselves to protect our future.

自分たちで行動していかなきゃ いけないっていうのを

I want to tell people that and take action with everyone.

ちゃんと伝えて みんなで行動に移していきたいです
