Kids can be annoying sometimes... okay, a lot of the time.

小さな子にはイラつかされることも時々あります…っていうか、しょっちゅうか。

B. Beautiful.

Bは「beautiful（素晴らしい）」

Because I have to say something positive in this video.

何かポジティブなことは言わなくちゃね。

C. Colorful... language will be unavoidable sometimes.

Cは「colorful（多彩）」…時には多彩な言葉遣いをしなきゃいけないですね。

D. Daily.

Dは「daily（毎日）」

You have to do this whole parenting thing daily, as in every day, as in no days off for like the next 18 years.

子育ては毎日、休みなしに18年間続くわけです。

E. Exhausting.

Eは「exhausting（疲れる）」

F. Fun...ky.

Fは「funky（ファンキー）」

Being a parent can smell pretty funky.

子育てしていると変な匂いがする時があるから。

Windows down! Hold ya breath!

窓を開けて！息を止めろ！

G. Greedy.

Gは「greedy（欲張り）」

Kids eat like a pig and a dog kind of mixed together, they're pig dogs.

子どもってのはブタや犬みたいに食べるから、合わせてブタ犬みたいな感じ。

H. Hellish.

Hは「hellish（地獄のよう）」

Being a parent can be quite hellish, and it's up to you to find your kind of happy place amongst this newfound hell.

子育ては地獄のようにもなりますから、この新しい地獄の中で自分なりの平安なポイントを見つけてくださいね。

I. Ice cream.

Iは「ice cream（アイスクリーム）」

You'll never be able to drive pass another ice-cream store without a kid screaming at you...ICE CREAM!

アイスクリーム屋の前を通るたびに、間違いなく子どもたちは「アイスクリーム食べたい！」と叫ぶでしょう。

J. Juice.

Jは「juice（ジュース）」

You'll offer them water, they'll always want juice.

親が水を飲ませようとしても、子どもはジュースを欲しがるんです。

K. Kites.

Kは「kites（凧）」

Kids love kites... don't fly them in thunderstorms.

子どもは凧上げが大好きです…でも、嵐の時には止めといた方がいいかな。

L. Late.

Lは「late（遅れる）」

Go go go go go !!!!!

急げー急げ―！！！

You'll never be on time to anything ever again.

いつでも何にでも、2度と時間通りに着くことはなくなります。

Like, ever, I...I was late posting this video because of my kids.

マジで、何でも。ボクがこのビデオの投稿が遅れたのもうちの子どものせいだから。

M. Messy.

Mは「messy（ぐちゃぐちゃ）」

Kids are naturally messy and then that messiness rubs off on you and in a few years time you'll catch a glimpse yourself in the mirror and be like "holy crap what have I become?"

子どもってのはもともと汚い生き物で、そのうちこっちにまでそれが移ってきて数年もすればある日鏡で自分の姿を見て、「うわっ、オレに何が起こったんだ？」と思わずにはいられません。

N. No.

Nは「no」

The most used word in the English Oxford Parenting dictionary.

これはどんな親の辞書の中でも、一番たくさん使われる言葉ですね。

O. Old.

Oは「old（歳を取る）」

Parenting makes you old, congratulations you're gonna age three times faster than all your non-parent friends.

子育てをしていると歳を取ったなと感じます。子供のいない友だちに比べて3倍速く歳を取るでしょう、おめでとうございます。

P. Pee... as in pee and poop... yay you're now a professional poo and pee cleaner.

Pはその…「pee（おしっこ）とかpoop（ウンチ）」ですね…やったー、皆さんはおしっこやウンチの片付けのプロです。

Q. Quick.

Qは「quick」

With a house full of kids, any Mum and Dad "alone time" will have to be very quick.

家に子どもがたくさんいる中で、両親の「自分たちだけの時間」はあっという間に過ぎてしまいます。

Not that I'm complaining really...

R. Rain.

Rは「rain（雨）」

Rain means that you and the kids are now stuck inside, like just...

雨の日は、子どもたちと一緒に家の中にこもりっきりになるということを意味しています、こんな感じに…

S. Sleep.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

T. Tired.

Tは「tired（疲労）」

Like... like, all the time, it'll....it'll just never leave you, it's just constant like....

常に付きまとっていて、いつでもなんかこう…

U. Unaffordable.

Uは「unaffordable（お金がない）」

Those kids are gonna bleed you dry, every... every dollar.

子どもたちは最後の1ドルまで親から搾り取っていきます。

V. Vases or vases (New Zealand accent)

Vは「vases（花瓶）」

Yeah these things, anything breakable will get broke.

そう、こんなヤツ、壊れやすいものは間違いなく壊れるって感じですね。

Much like your new financial situation as a parent...

親としての預金状況も破たんするみたいな感じで…

W. Wetting-the-bed.

Wは「wetting-the-bed（おねしょ）」

Just put the kid to bed in the bath.

とりあえずお風呂の中で寝かせましょう。

X. X-rays.

Xは「x-rays（レントゲン写真）」

They're not cheap.

結構値段しますよコレ。

Y. Every parent's most hated letter.

Yは親にとっては最悪の文字。

Why!? WHY!? Why!?

何で？何で？何で？（WhyとYは似た発音）

Z or z (New Zealand accent) for Zebra.

Zは「zebra（シマウマ）」

Zebras have black and white stripes that help them like blend into the surroundings and hide away.

シマウマって、白の黒のストライプで周辺の景色に馴染んで姿を隠すじゃないですか。

I hide by locking the toilet door.

ボクもトイレのドアの鍵を閉めて隠れます。
