And we're going to start with teeth or fangs.

歯や牙から始めましょう。

So take your pumpkin, and draw on a design.

まずはカボチャを取り、デザインを書きます

Hollow it out and carve out the face.

それをくりぬき、顔をつくります。

You can see I've cut out a nice big hole for the mouth.

口は大きくカットしました。

Next we're going to take the off cut from the mouth

次に口の部分を取り、

and using a sharp knife, carefully cut out fangs, like this.

鋭いナイフを使用して、慎重に、このように、牙を切り取る。

Next we need to take our fangs, and push a cocktail stick in the end.

そして牙を取り、最終的にカクテルスティックを押し込みます。

Snap the end off so its a bit shorter, and we should have something which looks like this.

端を折り、短くしましょう。そしてこういうものが出来上がります。

And finally start arranging the fangs in the mouth.

そして最後に口の中で牙をつけていきます。

Pretty cool eh!

すごいでしょ？

A slightly different way to do teeth is cut them into the pumpkin as you're carving out the face.

違った方法は、顔を掘っている時に、歯も一緒にくり抜くというものです。

Then using a sharp knife, carefully peel underneath the skin and peel it off.

そして、ナイフを使い、注意しながら皮を剥ぎます。

Go around all the teeth and you should have something which looks like this..

歯の周り全ての皮をとると、このようになります。

Next we're going to look at using the pumpkins stem for a nose.

次はカボチャの茎を使って鼻をつくります。

So take your pumpkin, turn it on its side, and draw on a face.

カボチャをこのように向け、顔を書きます。

Then turn your pumpkin around, and cut open a lid at the back.

そしてカボチャの裏側から、蓋をくり抜きましょう。

Hollow it out, and then we can start to carve the face.

中を取り出し、顔をつくります。

For this one we're going to cut the skin around the eyes, and carefully peel it off.

このカボチャでは、目の周りの皮を切り、注意して剥ぎます。

It should look like this.

このようになります。

Then cut out the mouth, and using the same technique, peel off the skin in front of the teeth.

その後、口を切り出し、同じ方法を使って、歯の部分の皮をはがします。

Next we're going to carve out each tooth, until you have something which looks like this.

そして、それぞれの歯の皮をとっていきますよ、こうなれば完成です。

Then using some black acrylic paint, we're going to paint in the eyes.

その後、黒のアクリル塗料を使用して、目をペイントします。

Good looking fella isn't he!

かっこいいでしょ？

Now for something a little different.

次は、ちょっと違ったものを紹介します。

Take a pumpkin, cut off the top and hollow it out.

カボチャの上をとり、中をとりだします。

Then using a hand drill, we're going to drill a series of holes, in no particular pattern, around the entire pumpkin.

その後、ハンドドリルを使い、カボチャ全体に穴をあけます。

Don't forget to do the lid.

蓋も穴を入れるのを忘れないでくださいね。

Clean it up and it should look like this.

それをクリーンアップし、それは次のようになります。

Next take a piece of wire, this was an old coat hanger

次に、針金を使い、これは古いハンガーです。

and hook it into one of the holes in the pumpkin.

カボチャに開けた穴の１つにつけます。

Loop it around to the other side, and thread it through a hole opposite.

反対側まで曲げ、穴に取り付けましょう。

Take the lid off and make sure the wire is bent around so the pumpkin won't fall off.

ふたを外してカボチャが落下しないようにワイヤーがきちんと曲げられていることを確認してください。

We now have a hanging pumpkin lantern!

カボチャ提灯の出来上がりです！

Put some candles inside, dim the lights, and you've got your very own pumpkin mirror ball!

キャンドルを入れ、電気を暗くすれば、カボチャミラーボールになります！

And finally take an orange ping pong ball, and using a black or red marker pen, draw on a pumpkin face

オレンジの卓球玉を使い、黒か赤ペンで、カボチャの顔を書きましょう。

Then use a pencil to draw lines all the way around the ball to give it a pumpkin effect.

次に、このように、それをカボチャの効果を与えるために、ボールの周りに鉛筆で線を入れます。

Now we're going to make it light up using an LED keyring.

First open up the key ring, and take out the LED and batteries.

Then tape the LED to the batteries like this

LEDを電池にこのようにテープでとめます。

and bend the LED so it's upright.

上を向くように、LEDは曲げましょう。

Next using a screwdriver, we're going to carefully poke a hole into the bottom of the ping pong ball.

スクルードライバーを使い、卓球玉に、穴をあけます。

And finally, sit the ball onto the LED.

そして最後に、LEDの上に卓球玉をつけます。

Dim the lights and we can have our own little army of Ping Pong Pumpkins!

明かりを暗くすると、ピンポンカボチャの完成です！

You don't need to use a knife, and it's a great one to do with children.

ナイフを使わなくてもいいので、お子さんと作ることができますね。
