If someone says by no means he or she means absolutely not, like no way or in no way, not at all. So this is the way we often use it. Okay. Let's continue. The word 'means' by itself. Yes. So if you kind of separated it by itself can also be used to refer to sums or amounts. So this is why you know, you can you could kind of guess why we say by no means. It really means by no amount, by not even a small amount. That's why we say, especially small amounts. So we say by no means. It means not even by a small bit or a small amount. It can also be used to refer to "way" sometimes. Sometimes we use the word "means" to mean like a way or a method. So sometimes when you say by no means, it kind of means like in no way also. All right. So let's take a look at ... we have four examples here. Let's look at them. All right. Example number one. This is by no means your best option. You have several other choices. So this is in no way your best option. Option or this is absolutely not your best option. Okay let's look at number two. She is by no means a miser. She just doesn't believe in wastefully squandering away our budget. So then probably another person was probably accusing her of being a miser and somebody else was standing up for her and saying, No, no absolutely not. She's not a miser. You know a miser would be a person that doesn't want to spend money or doesn't want to share, or something like that. She's saying she's not that way. She's just trying to be careful not waste the money. So she is by no means. All right. So here she's by no means. It could be you know, She is in no way a miser or not, not even any amount. So no way that you could even measure it, could you call her a miser. She is by no means a miser. She just doesn't believe in wastefully squandering. Remember when you squander that's when you spend foolishly, away our budget. Okay. Let's look at number three. He is by no means a pauper. A pauper means you know, somebody who is very poor. Believe me, believe me or trust me, he has a lot more money than you do. You know , so was talking to somebody saying, no you're wrong if you think he's a pauper. He's not. All right. And number four you should by no means ignore his warning. So you should in no way ignore his warning or you should absolutely not ignore his warning. Yes. He means what he says. If you don't do it, you will be punished. So we use by no means in all of these ways. Okay. Anyway, I hope you got it. I hope it is clear. Thank you for your time . Bye- bye.
