こんちゃ！ 今日は、あたしの新アパートのビデオを見せたいです。

Hi! So today I want to show a video of my new apartment.

２週間ぐらい前引っ越しました。

I've been here about 2 weeks.

この建物は４０年以上前建てられて、

This place is probably about 40 years old, maybe a bit more,

そしてアパートのほとんどは

and most of the apartments in this building

まだまだ古くて、伝統的で、畳があるアパートです。

are still the old, traditional, tatami mat flooring sort of apartments.

こっちの方は最近改装されて、 この前１人だけがいて、

This one has been renovated recently and I think there's been only one person in here,

１っか月以下泊まったかも知れません。

that was here for probably a month at most.

しかし、全部はまだ新しいで、

But yeah, everything's still new,

改装からまだ少しほこりがあって、

there's bits of little dust and dirt from the renovations still on things

最近だけひっこしたのです。

cause I've only just moved in.

セミ家具のアパートで、ベッドがあって（見られる）,

It's semi-furnished, so I've got a bed (as you can see),

カメラにあって机も椅子もあります。

I've got the table that the camera is on, and a chair.

冷蔵庫もあってさ、けど、 普通な物がありません。

And a fridge, but... most of the things are not included in the apartment,

ダイニングテーブルやダイニング椅子やテレビとかありません。

like (dining) tables and extra chairs, TV, all that sort of thing.

なんか、ハイテックみたいと思います。

It's more, kind of, high tech I guess -

ビデーあるし、水はディジタルで制御するし、

bidet in that bathroom, uh, toilet, the water is controlled digitally,

風呂はボタンで制御して、

so the bath you actually have to press a whole bunch of buttons

暑くなって、水が出てためにもボタン使います。

to get it to fill up and heat up and all that.

アパートの水も、気温はボタンで変わります。

The water itself, the temperature is controlled digitally.

それにも、ホテルっぽい明かりがあって、

And it's got a whole bunch of studio, hotel-ey lights in here as well,

綺麗なデザインのためにかしら。

for decoration I guess.

実は、畳が欲しかったけど、 このアパートが素晴らしかったから。。。

I originally wanted tatami mats, but this place was really nice, so...

こっちを選びました。

I ended up choosing this one.

普通なアパートではなくて、

It's not the typical sort of apartment,

古くて、伝統的な日本のアパートに例えたらけど、

compared to normal, old-style, kind of, traditional Japanese apartments,

見せてあげたかった、

but I thought I'd give you a look at what some of the newer ones

新デザインの方が。

are starting to look like,

そして、このデザインに似てるアパートがかなりあってなりますので、

and there's a lot being built at the moment that kind of have a similar design, so for those

日本に引っ越す興味がある人はこのデザインも選びます。

interested in moving to Japan, this is one of the options I suppose.

Hi everyone, and welcome to my new apartment.

たった今引っ越して、契約に署名した、２０分前ぐらいで、

I've just moved in, I've just finished signing the contracts about 20 minutes ago

短いビデオ作ります。

and I'm just doing a quick video.

今はちょっと夜遅くので、少し静かの方にします。

It's a bit late at night, so I'll be a bit quiet so I don't disturb the neighbours.

玄関です。

This is the entrance hall.

最近改装されたけど、４０年以上前建てられた建物にあります。

It's freshly renovated, but it is in a building that's about 40 years old

なんか、ラッキーですね^-^

so I guess I got a bit lucky.

靴箱です。

This is the shoe cupboard.

棚が多いです。

So, you can see there's a lot of racks for the shoes.

靴を残すところです。

This is where you leave your shoes.

日本には、家で靴が履いてはいけませんので、

You're not allowed to actually wear your shoes in a Japanese household,

スリッパを履かなければなりません。

so you should wear slippers.

代理店はスリッパが与えたけど、自分のスリッパの方が履きたかったです。

My agency has provided me with some but I'll be wearing my own just because I prefer those.

じゃ、廊下に歩くと、

So, if you go through this small hallway...

ここはお風呂とトイレです。

...this section leads off to the bathroom/bath area.

ここはキチンと食堂と寝室です。 言い換えると、アパートのメインエリアですよね。

This is for the kitchen and the bedroom. So, the main area of the apartment.

こっちは新しいです。

So, this has been freshly put in.

８月か９月からか分かりません

I'm not sure if it was last month (August) or this month (September).

多分８月でしょ。

I think probably last month.

その他、他の物も与えたました。

And they've provided a few little things.

3部構成のストーブです。

3-part gas burner.

火を点灯ために押して、続くために下の押します。

Push in to make the fire go, and then you press down to keep it going.

それから、止まるために上に押します。

Afterwards, you press that and it stops it,

凄いな。

which is pretty cool.

上にレンジフードです。

Above that is the rangehood.

すべての食器棚は便利になるかな。

All these cupboards'll really come in handy,

でも、これはなんか面白いだと思いました。カップ食器棚でしょ。

but what I found interesting was the cup holder (I'm assuming).

スゴイ。

Looks cool.

これを裏返せます。

Here at the sink we've got this, which you can put on either side if you flip it over.

どちらの側に置くことができます。

Just depends where you want to dry your dishes.

冷蔵庫です。

Here we've got the fridge.

ダイニングテーブルとまだまだかありませんから、

I haven't actually got a dining table or chairs or anything like that,

後で買うつもりです。

so I'll be getting my own.

あたしの物です。綺麗じゃないですね。

That's all my stuff, kinda sprawled across the floor.

クローゼット、掃除機、

Got the closet, the vaccuum...

明かり。。。

...have the normal light, which is just up here.

普通な明かりのほか、この綺麗な明かりもあります。

Or, you can turn that off and have those really cool looking lights,

光が変わられます。

which you can then adjust to how you like.

次は寝室で、同じものです。

So next is the bedroom, which is the same thing -

普通な明かりと変わられて明かりがあります。

you've got normal lights and then you've got adjustable lights.

スゴイぃ。

That's very cool.

エーアコン（ＡＣ）です.

Aircon.

シングルベッド。

Single bed.

もう荷解きが少し始めました。

(I've already started unpacking just a little bit.)

全ての手引書です。

In here are all the manuals.

明かりのリモコンで、

And this is a remote for the lights...

エーアコンのリモコンです。

... and a remote for the aircon.

下にインターネットです。

Internet.

バルコニーです。

This is the balcony.

外では洗い機があります。

Got the washing machine outside.

空きが少しあります。

(Bit of space.)

これで何でも見えないけど、カーテンもあります。

You can't see anything through this but there's curtains on the side which are also really nice.

寝室はスライディング戸があります。

So, there bedroom can actually be closed off by sliding doors.

最初はちょっとぎこちないけど。。。

They're a bit awkward at first but I think I can get used to them.

じゃ、廊下の戻ります。

So, back to the hallway.

お風呂やトイレです。

This is the bathroom area.

トイレの明かりで、

Got a switch for the toilet...

お風呂ので、

....the bath...

ファンのです。

...and for the fan.

こっちは風呂のエリアです。

This is the bath area.

バケツを水で満たすところです。

Got something where you can fill up your bucket.

普通のシャワーで、こっちもかわられます。

You've got a normal shower, which is also adjustable.

お風呂のカバーです。

Got a bath cover.

広い鏡です。

Mirror that goes all the way.

水があそこから出ます。

The water comes from there.

基本的に、水の気温を点けて。。。

Basically what you do is turn it on...

まだ分かんないだけど。。。

I haven't yet had a chance to figure it out, so I'm learning now...

でも、こっち。。。

...but I think it was...

気温が変わられます。

You can control the temperature that comes out.

I haven't quite figured it out yet.

Let's turn that off...

こっちは面白いですよ。

Over here is really interesting.

テレビですよ！これもまだ使うのは分かんないです。

It's actually a TV, which I also haven't figured out how to use yet, but...

でも、楽しいことだとおもいます、お風呂にテレビがあるのことです。

So that'll be an interesting experience, having a TV in the bathtub.

じゃ、トイレに行きます。

So, back to the bathroom...

流しや鏡。。。

Got a normal sink and a mirror....

タオルフック。。。

...towel rack...

ビデーです。凄く嬉しかったです。

...a bidet toilet, which is also really cool and I was quite happy about getting that.

普通なビデーです。 やわらか、ビデー、おしり、

So it's got the normal bidet features - you've got the back, got a soft stream,

止まりのボタンが水勢があります。

bidet and a stop button, plus also the strengths here.

日本では多くのトイレのように、流すと。。。

Just like a lot of toilets in Japan, if you flush it....

水がれサイクル出来て、手を洗います。

you can wash your hands and the water gets recycled.
