There are many trains here that used to carry sugar cane 這裡有很多小火車 從前是用來運送蔗糖

or passengers back in the days. 和旅客

I just can't wait to just hop on the train and take a tour around. 就跟我搭乘小火車到處逛逛吧！

Wushulin Recreation Park 烏樹林文化園區

used to be a sugar refinery. 早期是糖廠

After being shut down in 1983, 1983年製糖業務結束後

it gradually transformed into a tourism sugar refinery. 慢慢轉型成為觀光糖廠

Welcome to Wushulin. 非常歡迎來到烏樹林

It's the origin of Wufenche (sugar train). 五分車的故鄉

Train, train, here comes the sugar cane. 火車 火車 交甘蔗

In fact, steam trains carried both sugar cane and passengers. 蒸汽機車也在載客

The steam trains over there were old passenger trains. 蒸汽機車就是我們早期的客車

In Wushulin Recreation Park, 烏樹林文化園區

there are many trains. 這裡有很多台火車

There are petrol fueled trains such as Shengli (Victory) 有汽油客車-勝利號

and Chenggong (Success), 和成功號

steam trains, 蒸氣機車

and sugar trains. 還有五分車喔

Sugar trains run slowly, 五分車的時速非常慢

so you can appreciate the scenery along the railway. 可以欣賞沿路的風景喔

We're now here at Wushulin Terminal Station. 我們現在在烏樹林終點站

And I just hopped off the mini train. 剛下小火車

I'm having a lot of fun today here at the sugar refinery. 我在糖廠玩得很開心

The weather is very good, 這裡天氣非常好

And I'm today's train master. 今天我要來擔任一日站長

I saw a lot of people touring around with their friends and family. 有很多人會和朋友或家人一起來玩

They're having a lot of fun. 大家玩得很開心都

And so this is the tail of the train. 這裡是五分車的尾部

But now because it has reached the terminal station, 但是列車抵達終點站後

it switched into this part as the head. 這一側就變成火車頭了

So later on, 待會兒

the train will go this way to further move on to the next station. 火車會往這個方向前進 朝下一站出發

Behind me is the duty office for station masters. 我後面這邊就是站長室

As you can see, there are many sugar refinery facilities 你可以看到站長室的前面跟周邊

in the front of and around the duty office. 有很多糖鐵的設施

The control lever was used to manage trains 板閘的功能是控制

that enter and leave the station. 火車進出

If you pull down the lever for 45 degrees, 板閘往下推45度角

it means the train can now enter the station. 表示火車可以進站喔

What a smart device! 這個設計很聰明吧！

The notification bell tells us when a train is about to enter the station 報車器是列車即將進站時

so that the staff can be prepared. 提醒車站人員做準備

Jacqueline, they said there are bees here. Jacqueline聽說這裡還有蜜蜂

There is a queen bee inside the hive. 這裡住了一隻最大隻的女王蜂

All of the bees here are her offspring. 這裡的蜜蜂全部都是她生的

Wow! Only female bees collect nectar. 哇！原來採花蜜的都是女生

Inside the box are pollen and a bee hive. 這個箱子裡有花粉和蜂巢

If we put the bee hive frame into the machine, 而且巢框放入機器

we can get honey. 竟然可以直接壓出蜂蜜來

It's really natural. 非常的天然

Unlike processed honey, natural honey 純天然的蜂蜜加入水中

will dissolve in the water immediately if you shake the bottle. 只要搖一搖 蜂蜜就會溶於水

If the water is transparent, it means the honey is not really pure. 如果顏色太清透表示不夠純

Before you drink it, remember to shake the bottle. 所以使用前要記得搖一搖瓶子喔

Ah~I mean, shake the bottle. 啊～我說的是搖瓶子

Have a taste, Jacqueline! Jacqueline快喝喝看吧！

I'm now going to try this honey with water 我們現在來試試這瓶蜂蜜水

and see if it's real honey 看看是不是真的蜂蜜

It's super natural. 喝起來非常天然

The sweetness just combines into the water. 蜂蜜的甜味融在水中

It's not artificial. 不是人造加工的

It's awesome. 真的非常好喝

Jacqueline, are there any other special things here? Jacqueline這裡還有什麼特別的呢

So the room on my right side is basically the room 我右手邊的房間

we store all the repairtools. 是存放所有維修器材的地方

Whenever the train is having any problem, 如果火車故障

maintenance staff will just take all the tools 維修人員就會帶著維修器材

to repair all the things they need to repair. 開始維修

And on my left side is the old station. 我左手邊的舊火車站

This was erected in 1940. 是1940年建造的

Basically people came here to buy tickets 當時旅客會來這裡買火車票

and hop in and hop off the trains right here. 搭乘火車的地點也在這裡

A lot of documents and facilities about railways are preserved here. 這裡還保留許多鐵道的相關文物喔

Did you see anything special, Jacqueline? Jacqueline你有看到什麼特別的嗎？

Right here, you can see this is a switch board from the past. 這是以前的總機

Nowadays, we just dial the numbers on the telephone. 現代人撥電話只需要按下電話上的號碼就可以

However, back in the past, you had to plug the cord in the hole. 但在以前 人們必須要將線接到對應的插孔才能撥電話

For example, if people outside wanted to ask for the director, 比方說 如果有人想要找站長

they'll just plug the cord in the hole that refers to the director, 就必須將線接到代表站長的那個插孔

and then, the director can get the phone call. 如此一來 站長就會接到電話了

Here at this area, 這個區域

it displays a lot of different kinds of trains, 展示各式各樣的火車

such as trains that carry sugar cane, 從搬運蔗糖的貨運火車

or also trains that carry people. 到載客的客運火車都有

Here behind me, you can see this one. 我身後這列火車

This is the Victory Train. 是勝利號

It used to carry people around. 從前是客運火車

If anyone wants to go work, or if they want to travel around, 若要出發去上班或旅遊

they can just hop on the train and go to the place they want. 只要跳上火車就可以前往目的地囉

Aside from train exhibition, 這裡除了展示火車

there are many hands-on activities. 還有很多其他的體驗活動喔

This is the room that exhibits a lot of different kinds of photos. 這個展示間有各式各樣的圖片

It teaches us what we should do when the earthquake hits. 告訴我們地震來時該怎麼做

Now, I'm going to go and experience how all levels of 現在 我要去體驗

earthquake would cause and how it would feel. 各級地震的威力

I just experienced the most terrifying thing. 剛剛的地震體驗真的非常恐怖

It was earthquake that is from level 4 to level 7. 我從四級體驗到七級地震

The shake is really, really large and scary. 晃動的幅度非常大 真的很嚇人

When an earthquake hits, it's really dangerous and terrifying. 地震真的非常危險 非常可怕

So we really want to be ready and be cautious about 我們應該要隨時準備好 並且注意

what we should do during the earthquake. 地震來襲時應該要怎麼反應

There are a variety of facilities in the recreation park. 這個園區很多元吧！

It's just like all-you-can- try! 一次滿足各種需求！

but also learn a lot about the history of railways. 還能更深入認識鐵道的歷史
