Civilization VI brings an innovative new way of managing cities

『シヴィライゼーション VI』ではこれまでと異なり　 都市は最初のタイルにとどまらず　外へ外へと広がっていく

by allowing you to build out from your home tile and across the world map.

各都市には中心となるタイルがあり　 「区域」がそれを取り囲む形になる

Each city will still consist of one home tile, but there are now districts surrounding the city.

研究　発展　文化　生産など　 各「区域」は何らかの役目に特化している

Districts are specialized for different tasks, such as research,

『シヴィライゼーション VI』には様々な種類の「区域」がある

growth,

他の文明には築けない　ある文明固有の「区域」もある

culture,

各「区域」にはその機能を支える建造物がある

or production.

「キャンパス」は都市の「科学力」を高める

There are many different kinds of districts in Civilization VI.

「筆記」を研究すると自分の都市に 「キャンパス」を築けるようになる

Some Civs will have unique districts only they can construct.

「図書館」は「キャンパス」に築ける最初の建造物だ

Each district contains buildings that support its role.

中世になると　「教育」を研究し　 「大学」を建設することが可能になる

The Campus is used to boost the science of a city.

最終的には　現代において「化学」を発見すると　 「研究所」を建設することができるようになる

After researching Writing as a technology, you'll be able to construct a Campus in your cities.

「キャンパス」に建造物を築くと　 そのたびに都市が産出する「科学力」は増えていく

The Library is the first building built on the Campus.

「区域」を配置する場所は重要だ

Later, during the Medieval Era, you'll research Education and be able to construct a University.

「区域」は条件を満たす郊外のタイルにしか築けない

Finally, during the Modern Era, you'll be able to build the Research Lab once you've discovered Chemistry.

特定の特徴に「区域」を隣接させると ボーナスが得られる場合もある

Each time you build a building on the Campus, it will increase the amount of Science that city is producing.

たとえば「キャンパス」は 山岳や熱帯雨林が近いとボーナスを得られる

The location of a district is important.

他の「区域」にもそれぞれ違う隣接ボーナスがある

Districts can be built in a valid tile outside the city.

「遺産」の配置にもタイルが必要だし　 条件を満たしていないと配置できない場合もある

A district can be given a bonus by placing it next to certain features.

たとえば「ピラミッド」は 氾濫原か砂漠にしか築けない

Our Campus, for example, gets a bonus when it is built near a mountain or rain forest.

「劇場」は「遺産」の隣に築くことでボーナスを得られる

Other districts will have their own adjacency bonuses.

「アレキサンドリア図書館」は 「キャンパス」の隣にのみ築ける

Wonders, too, require their own tile for placement, and may have requirements for where they can be placed.

The Pyramids, for example, must be constructed on a floodplain or desert.

Theater districts benefit from being built adjacent to a Wonder.

The Great Library can only be built adjacent to a Campus.
