This was a special goose because it laid a golden egg everyday.

They sold the eggs and became rich.

卵を売ってお金持ちになった。

They were very lucky and happy.

とてもラッキーで幸せな気持ちになりました。

Soon they became greedy.

やがて彼らは貪欲になった。

They thought of becoming rich faster.

彼らは早く金持ちになろうと考えた。

'O, if only we can get all the golden eggs that are inside the goose'.

'O、ガチョウの中にある金色の卵を全て手に入れることができれば......。

And so they killed the goose to get all the golden eggs.

それで彼らはガチョウを殺して金の卵を全部手に入れた。

But to their shock there was one egg inside the goose.

しかし、彼らのショックは、ガチョウの中に1つの卵がありました。

They were sad and broken.

彼らは悲しくて壊れていました。

Moral: Greediness gets us nothing.
