ways of using the phrasal verb take off.

「take off」の3つの使い方を紹介します。

First, we use take off to describe removing clothing.

まず、衣類を脱ぐことを述べる時に使います。

It's really hot here so I'm going to take off my jumper.

ここはとても暑いので、ジャンパーを脱ぎます。

You can also separate take and off and say:

「take」と「off」をはなして使うこともできます：

take my jumper off.

Second, we use take off to describe

2つ目に使うのは、

something becoming successful.

何かが成功しそうな時、

I'm going to be rich.

金持ちになる。

My business has taken off.

事業が成功した。

Third, we use take off to describe not going to work.

3つ目、会社に行かないことを述べるのに使います。

I'm going to take a day off work tomorrow.

明日、会社を休みます。（休暇をとります。）

So, we can say:

なのでおさらいしましょう：
