Hi, I'm Shian Chuan with the Conference Planning Committee. On behalf of our committee and the Puget Sound chapter of ATD
I want to welcome you and thank you for your interest in facilitating at our conference in October.
The theme of this year's conference is the Future of Learning
Developing Agility in a Rapidly Changing World
We are planning on a full day of learning and discussions that focus on what we – as learning & development practitioners - are doing
to build agile leaders, teams and organizations.
By sharing and learning from real life experiences and trends
participants will walk away with insights and practical tools that they can use to shape THEIR future of learning within their organizations.
This means challenging them to look to the future to define and evolve to their vision, while also
celebrating what currently brings value to their organizations and should continue.
We appreciate the breadth of experiences, outlooks and interests that talent development professionals in the Puget Sound area bring.
Our attendees value the chance to learn and share along with you
We can't have a successful conference without our session facilitators. I hope you'll consider
facilitating a session this year
It's a win-win for you and for our attendees.
You'll not only get the chance to connect with talent development professionals from across your area
You'll grow your own professional visibility and credibility with this audience
You'll also receive complimentary registration to the full conference
Remember your own development is important too!
To help you prepare your proposal we have two resources for you both are available on the Chapter's Conference website
The first are FAQs.These will explain the goals
process, dates and policies of our Request for Proposal, or “RFP” program.
The other is the RFP submission form.
This form will help you outline and plan your session. It will also give the Conference Planning Committee
details needed to help assess and select the best sessions for this year's conference.
The due date for the RFP is just around the corner
The due date and other key dates for facilitators are available on the conference website.
In case you have questions while you're working on your RFP
