are your plans for today

Melvin I'm Harry lovely to meet you so i'm

here with melvin umm and Melvin what are

your plans for today?

well i'm about to see a new agent to

take on some modeling jobs and then

after that I'm going to get the train

back to Nottingham where I

live

wow ok what what type of modeling jobs?

well who knows i suspect it might be

woolly cardies OK yeah good for

this kind of type of weather right well

it is yes but I think it's

probably knitwear for the older more

distinguished gentleman

ok ok anything that would suit me? well I

can see clearly that you are a

distinguished gentleman but perhaps not

an older distinguished gentleman such as

myself

nice to meet you and you are

adam, pleasure, so Ryan Adam what

are you doing here today today we're

looking around London to find different

spots to do a film filming we're

filming? well sort of we're finding different

locations

okay what kind of filming are you doing?

we're in the process of producing our own

short flm so now we're just doing

location scouting to shoot it next month so

i'm here with James and katie and we

are next to big ben and I'm wondering

what are you up to today? probably go to

Camden check out some of South bank you know

and then just bum round London I suppose for a bit

no hard-and-fast plans yet but we'll see

where it takes us nice nice phrase hard

and fast I like that

i'm here with Roger today outside the

millennium wheel and I just want to know

Roger what are you up to today? I'm going

to have lunch with a friend

ok anything else? and I'm in a play

reading group afterwards so quite a busy

day

yeah actually we intend to pop into the

national gallery to look at the

Caravaggio's, so a hard working day ha ha ha

well i worked until I was 70 and now I'm

retired so you're able to enjoy your

retirement now

I ask you what're your plans for this

evening?

well I'm gonna go home I'm going to pick

up my two little dogs, Archie and Kipper

I've got two small miniature schnauzers

which strangely enough look exactly like me

clearly they take after their father

what are your plans this evening? This evening errrm

go to the gym I think after the gym get

something to eat maybe a few drinks later

on

nice and what about you? Same i'll be

joining him ha ha ha

ok and what are you doing this

evening? we're actually going to IKEA

because I just moved up here with

them and we're just gonna go find some

furniture so it's not very exciting but

something to do so it's not so bad

lovely very nice ya okay what are you

doing this evening? umm.. this evening

is our play reading group. There will be about

a dozen of us and we take turns on

deciding what the play so ...

the rest of us don't know until we turn up

what sort of character you're going to

be wow okay and going back to the

last play reading what was.. what was

happening in that play reading? that was

an Alan Ayckbourn comedy so it was a

a social comedy is good but .. we have

a huge variety they'll be tragedies and

dramas and whodunits and comedies it's a

mix occasionally even Shakespeare not

too often though oh that sound quite

serious Shakespeare though

are you quite a professional actor would you

say? no not really.. more of a hobby?

umm well I did win a prize once for

singing I was unanimously voted worst

karaoke singer of the night

fantastic what song was it?

'raindrops keep falling on my head' and

behave yourself or I'll sing it again! ha ha that's

amazing! and do you have any plans..

any holiday plans for the near future?

any holidays booked? D'you know what I don't i was

just thinking the other day that this is

really remiss of me not having anything

planned for the autumn

I would very much like to go to Japan

have you ever been to Japan Harry? I've never

been to Japan I went to Asia I've been

to Cambodia and Thailand but never

Japan.. and what interests you about Japan?

well besides the culture the erm....

..the scenery is fantastic and.. it's an

island nation very similar to ourselves

I think we've probably got a lot to learn

from one another

absolutely and do you like sushi? D'you know I'm

vegetarian, so I do like vegetarian sushi

but I don't eat anything that's ever had

a pulse

and towards Christmas have you got any plans

for that for that month?

Ummm nah not at the moment.. I'm not really a

big Christmas person so no plans at the

moment

okay and what about yourself? that month

it's my birthday that much so yeah I

haven't set anything (plans) yet though

going on towards Christmas Have you got any

plans for Christmas? not yet probably.. I've got

Uni(versity) so do that. Might pop over to

Disneyland try and get a cheap deal there

apart from that there isn't anything I

don't really plan that far in advance

excellent and have you been anywhere

nice this summer? I've been working in Italy

so I've been working for about

two-and-a-half months and then i go back

next year as well to work so... whereabouts

in Italy? Verena so.. working on one of

the campsites there and then next year

it's Venice so it's quite nice sounds beautiful

abroad?

yes we've just come back from a cruise umm.. in..

taking us from Southampton to

Bordeaux and then northern Spain

Portugal southern Spain and finishing

off in Barcelona that sounds lovely

bordeaux a lot of wine? Well it would be rude not

to drink it when you'e there wouldn't it!?

unfair to the Bordeaux people.. it would

be rude not to!
