  • Why does God have to be incarnated twice to do the work of saving mankind?

  • In the Age of Grace, God was incarnated as the Lord Jesus,

  • and was then nailed to the cross to serve as a sin offering.

  • We all understand this.

  • But for the Lord Jesus' return in the last days,

  • why is He incarnated in the flesh again as the Son of man to complete His work?

  • Many can't understand this.

  • That's right. I'm afraid we just don't get it.

  • If Almighty God hadn't explained this aspect of the truth to mankind

  • and unveiled this mystery,

  • then it's safe to say that no one would have understood it.

  • Right!

  • Now, my two brothers,

  • we've learned much from listening to your fellowship

  • over these past several days. (Yes!)

  • We've begun to understand the mystery of God's incarnation.

  • This is the first time we've heard this in all of our years in faith.

  • Yes. That's right.

  • Yes, we've never heard preaching like this before.

  • But now I think I still have a question to ask you.

  • Go ahead with your question.

  • In the Age of Grace,

  • God was incarnated to be a sin offering and take on the burden of sin.

  • This makes perfect sense.

  • Yes.

  • He was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

  • The Lord Jesus became Son of man to redeem man with sinless flesh.

  • And through this, Satan was defeated.

  • Yes.

  • In the last days,

  • God has once more become flesh as the Son of man to do the work of judgment.

  • And this we have come to learn is the truth!

  • Oh, yes, yes, it's true.

  • What I wanted to ask is this:

  • God's two incarnations are different,

  • the first was in Judea and the second is in China.

  • Now then, why does God have to be incarnated twice

  • to do the work of saving mankind?

  • What is the significance of His two incarnations?

  • Please tell us!

  • We have yet to understand this one aspect of the truth.

  • Could you explain it to us further? (Sure.)

  • Yes, brothers, please talk with us a little more about this!

  • Yes, please tell us more! (Alright!)

  • You say God has been incarnated in the last days as the Son of man

  • to do the work of judgment.

  • I say that's impossible! (That's right!)

  • The believers like us already know

  • when the Lord Jesus was crucified, He said,

  • This proves mankind's salvation by God's incarnation

  • has already been completed.

  • It's over. (Amen! Yes!)

  • Now you're saying He's back

  • and He's been incarnated as the Son of man again.

  • How can that be true?!

  • That's right.

  • The Lord Jesus was incarnated to redeem mankind.

  • We all know this is right! (Right!)

  • The Lord Jesus has come back through yet another incarnation?

  • If it's to rapture His believers into the kingdom of heaven,

  • is it necessary to be incarnated? (Right.)

  • When it comes to this issue, we don't understand.

  • Could you explain it further to us?

  • Sure!

  • You asked us a minute ago,

  • "Why should God be incarnated twice to do the work of saving mankind?"

  • We should be clear about this first.

  • With regard to saving mankind,

  • God's two incarnations have a profound meaning. (Yes.)

  • Because when it comes to the salvation of mankind,

  • whether we mean the redemption

  • or God's work of judgment and purification of the last days,

  • it can't actually be performed by mankind.

  • God has to be incarnated and He has to perform the work Himself.

  • In the Age of Grace,

  • God was incarnated as the Lord Jesus,

  • meaning God's Spirit clothed Himself in a holy and sinless flesh,

  • and was then nailed to the cross to serve as a sin offering,

  • redeeming mankind from their sinfulness. (Yes.)

  • Right!

  • Now, let's see what exactly Almighty God has said! (Alright!)

  • Let's turn to page 1008.

  • Amen!

  • God's incarnation in the last days is important! (Yes!)

  • I think we should read another passage. (Alright!)

  • Amen!

  • It's amazing how Almighty God makes it so clear! (It is!)

  • God's incarnation is truly a mystery! (Yes!)

  • If we based our faith just on the Bible, we would never learn this mystery!

  • That's right!

  • Thanks be to God!

  • From Almighty God's word, we see for ourselves:

  • In the Age of Grace, God became flesh for the first time

  • just to do the work of redemption.

  • Through the crucifixion,

  • He served as the sin offering to redeem mankind from its sinfulness

  • to relieve mankind from the curses and condemnation of the law.

  • We only had to confess and repent, then our sins would be forgiven.

  • We could then enjoy the truth and the bountiful grace,

  • which God bestowed upon us.

  • Yes!

  • This is the work of redemption that the Lord Jesus performed,

  • and it's also the true meaning of being saved by faith.

  • Amen!

  • Now, having said all this, I want to ask you all a question.

  • We are saved through our faith and the Lord pardons us of our sins,

  • but are we rid of our sinfulness?

  • Absolutely not.

  • That's right! Man's not rid of his sinfulness.

  • Right! Though the Lord Jesus pardoned us of our sins,

  • we still have yet to free ourselves from our sinfulness,

  • because we are still deeply possessed of our sinful nature

  • and satanic disposition.

  • Though we may continue to admit every one of our sins to the Lord,

  • and may still receive the pardon from the Lord,

  • that doesn't mean we have any real knowledge of our sinful nature.

  • Yes.

  • We know even less about our corrupt disposition,

  • something much more serious than sin.

  • The only sins that we are able to recognize are the sins of lawlessness

  • and the ones that accuse our conscience.

  • But we fail to recognize the deeper kind of sins, the sins of resisting God.

  • We don't know what causes our resistance,

  • how our satanic disposition manifests itself,

  • how our satanic nature came to exist,

  • which of Satan's poisons ingrain themselves within our nature,

  • and where man's satanic logic thinking and rules have arisen from.

  • It's very true we've never asked these questions.

  • So why does man have no knowledge at all of these satanic things?

  • Since man has been pardoned of his sins by the Lord Jesus,

  • why can't he free himself from the clutches of his sinfulness?

  • Why does he commit the same sins?

  • Does man truly become pure once he's been pardoned of his sins?

  • Does he then truly become holy?

  • No.

  • This is a practical issue that no one in the Age of Grace understands. (Yes.)

  • We truly can't see to the heart of these issues. (Yes.)

  • Though we are pardoned of our sins through the Lord,

  • we still unknowingly sin and resist God, rebelling against Him.

  • We believers all know this and experience it firsthand.

  • Yes!

  • For instance, we keep lying, even after putting faith in the Lord,

  • covet vanity, despise the truth and worship evil.

  • We can still be arrogant, quite treacherous, and greedy,

  • we're helplessly caught up in the corrupt disposition of Satan.

  • Many men work tirelessly for the Lord,

  • but they do so to enter the kingdom of heaven.

  • When they enjoy the Lord's grace,

  • then they're happy and resolute in their faith,

  • but as soon as they're faced with disaster or some tragedy strikes,

  • they misunderstand and blame the Lord.

  • They even deny and betray Him.

  • That's right!

  • As soon as God's work doesn't fit their conceptions,

  • they turn on God just like the hypocritical Pharisees,

  • resisting and condemning Him.

  • Do you know what I'm talking about?

  • Yes, sometimes we sin without even knowing it.

  • That's right, we seem to live in a never-ending cycle of sin and confession.

  • That's right!

  • So in the end, what does all of this prove?

  • That even though we have accepted salvation through Lord Jesus,

  • our sins were forgiven by Him,

  • this doesn't mean we have fully rid ourselves of sin and become holy, (Right!)

  • nor does it mean we have become of God or been gained by God.

  • Yes.

  • So when the Lord Jesus comes again to pass His judgment in the last days,

  • many people from the religious world

  • can even judge, condemn, and blaspheme God,

  • declaring Him their enemy and nailing Him to the cross again.

  • Could those that publicly condemn and resist God

  • enter the kingdom of heaven on the basis of their sins being pardoned?

  • No!

  • Would God allow evil forces to enter the kingdom of heaven to resist Him?

  • Would God take antichrists these haters of the truth into the kingdom of heaven?

  • No! Absolutely not!

  • He wouldn't! And why wouldn't He?

  • Because God is holy!

  • Right! That's right!

  • God is holy and righteous!

  • Amen! Yes!

  • As you can see, although we are pardoned of our sins through our faith,

  • we haven't fully rid ourselves of sinfulness or the influences of Satan, (Yes.)

  • much less have we been gained by God or become of God.

  • Yes!

  • So now if we humans wish to rid ourselves of sin to be fully gained by God,

  • we need God's second incarnation

  • to do the work of thoroughly purifying and saving man.

  • Amen!

  • Do you all understand this now? (Yes!)

  • That's indeed the truth.

  • God's second incarnation is necessary!

  • Yes, you're right! Yes.

  • Sadly, our view of God's work of salvation is far too simple.

  • Once we have our sins pardoned, we think there are no other issues,

  • that we'll surely be taken to the kingdom of heaven.

  • A corrupt man can be very naive and childish!

  • Corrupt mankind's conceptions and illusions are so ridiculous!

  • Was sin our only problem after our corruption by Satan?

  • What is the real root of mankind's sin?

  • And what exactly is sin?

  • Why does God detest it so?

  • To this day, no one has a proper understanding.

  • That's right, no one really gets it.

  • Man has been corrupted by Satan,

  • but to what degree is their corruption?

  • No one is clear on this.

  • Can you admit that's true?

  • Yes! It's true. (Yes.)

  • The reality of man's deep corruption

  • was made clear at the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus.

  • The fact that man could crucify the Lord Jesus

  • who had been merciful and expressed so much truth,

  • truly is a proof that man was now a descendant of Satan,

  • a follower of Satan, (Yes, that's the truth, he's right.)

  • that they had lost their humanity,

  • and that they didn't possess the slightest shred of a conscience.

  • Right!

  • They have no normal humanity.

  • Yes, that's right.

  • Doesn't man's resistance and animosity mean that man is at a point

  • where it's either them or God, where they can't reconcile with Him?

  • Can this problem really be solved by having their sins pardoned?

  • Who can guarantee that afterward man won't resist God

  • or take Him as their enemy?

  • No one can make that guarantee.

  • Right.

  • No, no one can guarantee it!

  • Man's sins may be pardoned,

  • but what about man's nature which opposes God?

  • Can God pardon man's disposition that is satanic?

  • He can't. No!

  • So then how does God resolve the things that still belong to Satan?

  • Without a doubt,

  • that's where God uses judgment and chastisement. (OhYes.)

  • It's fair to say without God's righteous judgment at work,

  • corrupt mankind would not be conquered,

  • they would never sink to the ground in deep humiliation.

  • This reason is why God must be incarnated in order to do the work of judgment.

  • Yes. I see.

  • There are many who have misconceptions about God's incarnation

  • and judgment in the last days.

  • Why is this so?

  • This is because they fail to see the reality of man's thorough corruption.

  • Right!

  • And so they don't understand why God does judgment work during the last days.

  • They hold fast to their conceptions

  • and fail to seek and study the true way.

  • Yes!

  • With that, how could they possibly obey God's work?

  • Ah, so it is!

  • So late today!

  • I've been a believer for many years, only repenting my sins.

  • But I never understood what the root of my sinfulness was.

  • Yes!

  • After hearing your fellowship, I finally understood.

  • The real root of our continuing sinfulness is actually our satanic nature!

  • Yes! Right!

  • Why do you frame belief in such a complicated manner?

  • The Lord Jesus who we believe in is the Redeemer. (Right!)

  • The Lord has forgiven us of all our sins, so we're free of sin!

  • Amen!

  • Having faith in the Lord is a simple matter,

  • we've no need for God's judgment in the last days!

  • Right! The Lord Jesus is a loving Lord.

  • I don't think the Lord Jesus would take His believers and then destroy them!

  • Brother Gu, Sister Huang,

  • the Lord Jesus clearly prophesied:

  • The words of Lord Jesus couldn't be more clear. (Yes. That's right!)

  • In the last days, He will come again to judge man with His word.

  • So why can't you just accept this?

  • I'm wondering if you're truly the sheep of the Lord.

  • You

  • Why can't you hear the Lord's voice?

  • Right!

  • They just explained it so clearly, how come these two still don't get it?

  • They made it so clear!

  • For the past while these two brothers spoke with us very clearly.

  • The Lord Jesus became flesh and He completed the work of redemption,

  • only forgiving man of his sins.

  • It didn't resolve the root of man's sinfulness,

  • this is simply a fact. (Yes!)

  • Within our past belief,

  • we couldn't understand the substance of the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus.

  • We believed that God had already forgiven our sins,

  • and so everything was just fine.

  • So we were waiting to enter God's kingdom.

  • That's right, that's exactly how we used to practice faith.

  • Yeah. If Almighty God hadn't come to reveal the full mystery of the incarnation

  • or His three-stage work's purpose,

  • we would be incapable of understanding God's work and will.

  • Yes! That's right! That's true.

  • With this view,

  • God incarnate expresses truth in the last days to do the work of judgment,

  • this is so meaningful! (Amen!)
