How to translate 瞎妹?

So what kind of a person is a 瞎妹?

では、瞎妹とはどんな人なのでしょうか？

The first feature of 瞎妹 is that she doesn't know she's a 瞎妹

瞎妹」の特徴としては、まず自分が「瞎妹」であることを知らないことが挙げられます。

but all the people around her do

周りはみんなそう

瞎妹 only cares about her appearance

瞎妹は外見だけを気にする

and posts selfies frequently

と自撮りを頻繁に投稿する

or something that doesn't match the context

とか文脈に合わないものを

You'll likely to unfriend her after seeing those posts

それらの書き込みを見て、彼女とは縁を切る可能性が高いです。

If you wanna describe a person

人を描写したいなら

who only has appearance but she's empty inside

外見だけで中身は空っぽ

You can use the English word，bimbo

英語の単語、bimboを使用することができます。

And 瞎妹 always tries to get attention

瞎妹はいつも注目を浴びようとする

on social media

ソーシャルメディア上で

as for this

此れに関しては

you can use the adjective，attention-seeking

気を遣うという形容詞を使うことができます。

so combined those words

そうしてそれらの言葉を組み合わせて

attention-seeking bimbo on social media

糞女

If you don't wanna say such a long description

そんな長々とした説明を言いたくないのであれば

you can simply use

を使用することができます。

How to translate 便當？

便當を翻訳するには？

便當 is a common food in Taiwan

便當は台湾では一般的な食べ物

It's got a main course, veges and rice

メインに野菜とご飯がついていて

But，they don't have the habit of eating 便當 in foreign countries

しかし、外国では便當を食べる習慣はない。

so it's a lil' bit hard to translate

訳すのはちょっと難しい

Some people would use the word lunch box

弁当箱という言葉を使う人もいるだろう

but it's not really precise

といっても正確ではない

cause' lunch box its just the box

弁当箱は箱だから

the container

入れ物

It may be a metal one or plastic one

それは金属製のものかプラスチック製のものかもしれません

so you can't say that I’m going to eat a lunchbox

だから弁当を食べるとは言えない

This is wrong

これは間違っている

I think there're two translations that are acceptable

2つの訳があると思います。

One is Bento，though it came from Japanese

一つは、日本から来たとはいえ、お弁当です。

But the concept of 便當 is the same in Japan and Taiwan

しかし、便當の概念は日本でも台湾でも同じである。

so I think it's a pretty acceptable one

ということで、かなり許容範囲内だと思います

The other one is boxed meal

もう一つはお弁当

It's a meal put inside a box

箱の中に入っている食事です

Here I wanna give you some words

ここで私はあなたにいくつかの言葉を与えたいと思います。

The box from restaurants is called to-go box

飲食店の箱は持ち帰り用の箱と呼ばれています。

If it's a paper bag

紙袋であれば

it's paper bag or doggie bag

紙袋でも犬袋でも

How to translate 小屁孩

小屁孩を翻訳する方法

hmmm，do I know any 小屁孩?

小屁孩を知っている人はいますか？

( You are 小屁孩 alright? )

( 小屁孩大丈夫か？)

小屁孩 means that he is spoiled

小屁孩は甘えているという意味

not polite and smart

洒落にならない

He doesn't have to be young

彼は若くなくてもいい

He may be an adult with those characteristics

そんな特徴を持った大人なのかもしれません。

can also be called a 小屁孩

小屁孩（こ屁孩）と呼ばれることもあります。

Because family education kinda has an impact on it

家庭教育が影響しているからだ

so you can say spoiled brat

駄々っ子と言われても仕方がない

which is a spoiled kid

どっちが甘えん坊なのか

If you wanna emphasize the characteristics of nonsense

ナンセンスの特徴を強調したいなら

You can use the word，punk

あなたは、パンクという言葉を使うことができます。

But if it's a kid

でも子供なら

You have to say little punk

お前はリトルパンクと言わなければならない

Be careful with the pronounciation

発音に注意

Don't pronounce it as "little"，say "lil" instead

リトル」と発音しないで、「リル」と言います。

lil, right?

If you think punk is too hard

There's a even more simple choice

How to translate 撒嬌

撒嬌」の訳し方

This is a hard one

これはキツイ

It has so many meanings in Chinese

中国語でいろいろな意味がある

But there isn't a word you can use for all the circumstances in English

しかし、英語のあらゆる状況で使える言葉がない

Between children and parents

子供と親の間で

Boyfriends and girlfriends

彼氏・彼女

pets and masters

飼い主

all kinds of 撒嬌

なんでもかんでも 撒嬌

You need to use different English words

英単語を使い分ける必要がある

If it's referring to acting cute

可愛く振る舞うことを指しているのなら

you can say act cute

かわいいといってもいい

If it's the sweet talk condition

甘い話の条件であれば

You can say sweet talk

甘い言葉を吐いてもいい

If someone did it with a purpose

誰かが目的を持ってやったのであれば

You can use butter someone up

あなたは誰かをバターを使用することができます。

If it's between couples

カップル間であれば

is is actually regarded as flirt

は、実際には浮気とみなされています

and if it's sticking together

そして、それがくっついているならば

and holding each other，use cuddly

抱き合ったり、抱っこしたりしています。

Yeah，just use the Chinese word instead

How to translate 學長、學姐、學弟、學妹

are words you don't really use in practical

There aren't any other expressions

他の表現はありません

They even use

使われていることもあります。

first year, second year, third year, fourth year to replace the old expressions

1年目、2年目、3年目、4年目と古い表現を置き換えるために

But I think the word，senpai

でも、「センパイ」という言葉があると思います。

is getting more and more popular in Western countries

は欧米でも人気が出てきている

you can google，senpai notice me

ググってみてください，せんぱい気付き

So...yeah，don't know how to translate it

だから...そう、どう訳せばいいのかわからない。

How to translate 客氣

客氣の訳し方

There are many scenarios

多くのシナリオがあります。

the most common one is 不客氣

一番多いのは不客氣

So how to say 不客氣 in English

では、不客氣を英語でどのように言うか

You're probably thinking bout' "you’re welcome" right?

"どういたしまして "のことを考えてるんだろ？

Let me show you an expression that's on fleek

飛びぬけた表現をお見せしましょう

one simple word，anytime

一言で何時でも

Yo～～Check this out

Yo～～～チェックしてみてください

“Hey thanks for helping me out”

"助けてくれてありがとう"

“Anytime”

"いつでも"

The person will fall in love with you immediately right?

相手はすぐに惚れてしまいますよね。

Ok，let's get back

オクレット、戻ってきて

客氣 can also be used in「你不要跟我客氣」

客氣は「你不要跟我客氣」でも使えます。

In this expression

この式では

It means that you want the person to act more freely

相手にもっと自由に行動してほしいということです。

The first one that cross my mind is "make yourself at home"

最初に頭に浮かんだのは "家でくつろぐ "だ

But that's what you usually say

でも、それは普段から言っていることです。

when you invite people to your house

招き入れ時

If you guys are outside

あなたたちが外にいるなら

it'll be kinda weird

妙な感じになる

If you say that in a restaurant

レストランでそんなことを言ったら

This is not your home!!

ここはあなたの家じゃない！

So another expression is " no strings attached"

ということで、別の表現では、「文字列は添付されていません」ということになります。

which means you don't need to pay me back so just act freely

借りは返さなくてもいいから自由に行動してくれ
