(laughs) um... 100 HUMANS We asked people around the world, what's it's like to be in love What does it feel like to be in love? To be in love... What does it feel like to be in love? (laughs) In love like just a crush on someone, or just actually like mutual? It's really complex. I don't know... I have never been in love before. Um, it feels free, and it feel safe. It's like feeling mesmerized. It feels like butterflies, it feels like there is nothing when you're with that person, the rest of the world doesn't exists. Sweaty palms actually do happen, um...(laughs) Um, it hurts. And the reason I say it hurts—it's an amazing feeling—but the reason I say it hurts is because I love someone who lives in another country. Can you tell us about a time that you were in love? Or about a person? Um.... That's scary. (laughs) He's really sweet, he's really handsome, he really loves me. We met as teenagers, and we grew up together, so it was a very good time. He makes me laugh a lot, and he makes the difficult moments very light. I'm learning new things about her and I'm appreciating her of who she is and who she's growing to be, but also love how she sacrifices so much for me. I'm still in love with my ex, because I think that our souls were connected. Sometimes she'll stand right in front of me, and I just kind of look at her like, who's this crazy person, while she's just staring at me, looking at me and accepting me for all that I am, and I love that about her. I don't feel the need to be someone different, to make her like me. I feel more like me than I ever have before, I think that's what being in love is, it makes you feel like a really incredible person. Yeah, it's just beauty, pure beauty.
