Welcome to Hipfig's video guide series on
Boston. In this video we'll be discussing
the Paul Revere House in Boston. Keep
watching for details and information
that will guide you through your visit
to this historical site. The Paul Revere
house is located on 19 North Square
along the Freedom Trail between Faneuil
Hall and Old North Church. This historic
landmark is one of downtown Boston's oldest
building and one of the few remaining
17th century dwellings in the United
States. To get to the Paul Revere House take the
subway also called the T. Take the Green
Line to Haymarket or Government Center
stop, or you can take the Blue Line to
the Aquarium or Government Center stop or,
you can take the Orange Line to
Haymarket stop. Once you exit from the T
walk toward Boston's North End which is
towards the water. Find and follow the
Freedom Trail marked by a red brick
ground path through the Boston's North
End, then follow the signs for the Paul
Revere House and the red brick line on the
sidewalks. It'll be about a 15-minute
walk from Faneuil Hall or Quincy Market.

After Revere sold the home in 1800, it
changed hands many times until in 1902
Paul Revere's his great-grandson, JP Reynolds
Jr. purchased the building to
preserve it.
Once inside the home, staff will tell the
story of Revere's ride and present a
brief history of his home. Inside the
building(s), staff dressed in period
costumes provide information into
everyday life for the Revere family, and
describe that period furnishings and
personal artifacts on display
No photos are allowed inside the home
This attraction can take half an hour
