Keep watching this video for information on what to see and do here. Faneuil Hall historic site and Marketplace is located at 4 South Market Building downtown, Boston. The most convenient way to Faneuil Hall Marketplace is to take the T or subway. The most direct way is to take the Blue line to Aquarium Station and take the Faneuil Hall exit (from the station) You can also take the Green line to Haymarket, North Station, Park Street, Government Center station. Or you can take the Orange line to State Street or Haymarket. Or the Red line to Park street exit the station and walk to Faneuil Hall marketplace. Faneuil Hall is nicknamed the Cradle of Liberty. This is a national historic site on the Freedom Trail and a market place. Faneuil Hall marketplace is made up of four places: Faneuil Hall Quincy Market, North Market, and South Market. They are all located around a busy cobblestone promenade with lots of street entertainment and shopping. This is a fun place to walk around, shop, eat, and explore Boston. Faneuil Hall is referred to as the Cradle of Liberty because of its use during the American Revolution. The National Park Service's visitor center is open on the first floor from 9am to 6pm. The Great Hall which is upstairs is open from 12pm to 5pm. There are a lot of stairs, take the elevator up. Admission to the Great Hall is free and Ranger talks are also free. When you're here, you can go on a Ranger Talk in the Great Hall or take a Ranger Tour of the Freedom Trail, or earn a Junior Ranger Badge with your kids for a link to the NPS website, go to Hipfig's website for Boston under "Things to See" tab for Faneuil Hall. Quincy Market design in a Greek Revival style building and the North Market and South Market are busy hubs for shopping, restaurants, cafes, and a huge food court. Be warned this place is busy especially in the summer and on weekends. Faneuil Hall historic site and Marketplace will take you an hour or more depending on your interest. Combine with the Old State House and the site of the Boston Massacre which are very close You can also walk to other Freedom Trail sites as well as to the Aquarium and Little Italy This is a must do when you're in Boston Happy Travels!
