It's something that I feel has been lost.

A basic level.

It's being lost.

“黄金律” は現代にも当てはまるんだ､

人と接する時には 自分が ｢こうしてほしい｣ と 思うような接し方をしなければならない

You still need to treat people, the way that you want to be treated.

最近､ それが見られなくなってきている

And you're seeing it less, and less these days.

なぜなら､ 人びとは 自然と こう認識しやすいからだ…

Because people have a automatic tendency

to assume that if someone is disagreeing with someone,

They are their enemy.

and they're inherently bad.

でも… 誰かと意見が合わなくても､ その相手に “敬意” を払うことはできる

and they should be f****d.

誰かを嫌ったって構わない！

But you can disagree with someone

どんなに忌み嫌ったっていい､ ｢ヤツらの行いは…！｣ ってさ

and still respect them.

｢彼らはこんなに酷いことをしている､ 嫌われる必要があるんだ｣ ってね

You can even hate someone

それでも､ 彼らに対しては “敬意” を持って接する必要がある

You can hate and abhorred their actions.

そう､ 難しいことだ

They're doing terrible things.

｢どうすりゃいいんだよ？｣ と 考える人もいるだろう

and they need to be "hated"

｢そんなの不可能だ､ もし それが 酷いヤツらだったなら…｣

But you still, need to treat them with respect.

｢不平等に扱われて当然だ｣ とね

And that's hard.

he's not these labels.

人を褒めるときも そう､

Because it's so easy to label someone.

つまり… 普通は 誰かを悪者扱いするときに 使うけど､ 誰かを賞賛するときだって そうだ

It's so easy to do.

たとえ 誰かを “高み” に 持ち上げたとしても だ

It's so easy to boil someone down

逆に ｢人間のクズだ｣ と こき下ろすとしても…

To a single word or a phrase.

｢ゴミ｣ と言おうが ｢ガラクタ｣ と言おうが､

And that's all they are.

“人間” として扱っていないことに 本質的には変わりはない

Even if you're praising them.

そして､ それは俺が絶対に支持しないことだ

I mean, normally it's when you're demonizing them.

But even if you're praising them.

俺は 何百万回も繰り返してきたんだ､

Even if you're putting someone on a pedestal.
