Kingdom Hearts 3, the 10th installment in the series was just announced during Sony's
E3 2013 press conference for the PlayStation 4.
According to Tetsuya Nomura the game began development in 2010 after the release of Birth
By Sleep for the PlayStation Portable. The last numbered installment in the series that
was not released on a mobile platform was Kingdom Hearts 2 and was a PlayStation 2 exclusive
in 2006.
Sora was featured prominently alongside the heartless enemies which he could apparently
use as a platforming device to get around the level, and Sora's classic keyblade was
still there as always, but little else was seen. As for a release date all we know is
that the game is in development.
