- Today we're heading out of San Francisco
on a day trip to Carmel, Monterey,
and the 17-Mile Drive.
Let's go.
The views are incredible.
I don't understand why it's such a popular drive.
Everywhere I look is just beautiful.
So we're coming up on our first stop, which is Bird Rock.
They may call it Bird Rock,
but it's actually covered in sea lion.
(sea lions barking)
All right, time to head back on the bus
off to the next stop.
So we've stopped to check out The Lone Cypress,
which is one of the most photographed trees
in the United States.
The tree just sits there all by itself.
It's about 250 years old.
We've stopped at the Pebble Beach Golf Course,
which is one of the most famous
golf courses in the entire world.
A visit to Monterey is not complete
without spending some time
at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Let's go inside.
Woah!
I'm like right underneath the shark.
And if you were scuba diving out in Monterey Bay,
this is what would be all around you.
I have had such a lovely day
taking in the breathtaking 17-Mile Drive,
and now finishing off here in Carmel
looking out over the sea.
