So whether you live in Ghost-a Rica, Boo-dapest or anywhere else, these quick and simple Halloween treats are sure to steal the show. You can make some spooktacular doughnut bats with a handful of ingredients in just a few minutes. All you need to get started are some chocolate-covered doughnuts, chocolate wafers, chocolate frosting, and candy eyes. Oh and don't forget your choice of edible fangs. For each doughnut, break a wafer in half and stick one on each side for the wings. Break up another wafer into smaller triangles and use it as ears for each bat. Now you can add almond slivers, sunflower seeds or sprinkles as fangs by simply stabbing them into the center of the doughnut. Add candy eyes with dabs of frosting to hold them in place. And look at that. A deliciously creepy doughnut. Creep your guests out with this crunchy carrot finger food. Pick out four longer carrots for fingers and then one shorter one as the thumb. Wash and peel your carrots before cutting them to size. Then carve a shallow, flat notch into the top of each carrot. Place your veggie dip in a bowl and use a few dabs of it to hold your fingernails in place. You can use almond slices, pumpkin seeds, or anything similar. Carefully place each finger in the dip to form your hand and then dress up your dish with some baby carrots for dipping. It's the perfect party platter that hungry guests can't wait to get their fingers on. With just a few ingredients, you can create these fun monster mouths. For this snack, choose a bright red apple for the lips, and remove the core and cut an even number of slices. To make sure the teeth stay in place, use a generous coat of creamy peanut butter on each side. For each pair of lips, place three to four mini-marshmallows with the peanut butter on one side and then sandwich it together with the other slice to form your smile. White chocolate chips are a fun alternative for fang-like teeth. Decorate or design them however you wish. The important thing is to have fun and create smiles in the process. How about some bloody Band-Aid cookies? You can make this disgustingly delicious treat for partygoers with minimal ingredients and in just a few steps. All you need is a package of graham crackers, white frosting or icing, and either red frosting or decorating gel. Start by breaking the graham cracker into sections and spread white icing onto the middle of each cracker. Try to form a square in the middle third and then add a dab of red icing to create your bloody-looking, unthinkably scary Band-Aid treats. They actually taste like gingerbread cookies, so kids'll love 'em. Nothing quite says Halloween like the iconic face of a jack-o'-lantern. But perhaps you're running low on time, funds, or even resources. Instead of carving out pumpkins and dealing with the mess, make some out of some citrus fruit. Get yourself a bag of small orange citrus and a black permanent marker and you're in business. This is the part where you can get really creative and put some personality into your pumpkins. Make them as unique as you wish. Simply toss 'em in a bowl and you're ready for that potluck party. Now here's another fun and simple way to add a festive flair to your everyday snacks. Flip your pudding containers upside-down and use a permanent marker to draw eyes and a mouth to create a ghostlike snack. Use this same concept on other packages like string cheese. Mix it up with various faces and expressions to create a nice boo-quet of Halloween snacks. Holy guacamole. Is that a puking pumpkin? Sick. To create your own puking jack-o'-lantern, draw out your own design, and then carve out the top and gut the insides. You can just carve out some triangular eyes or get creative with these colorful eyes than can be stacked into place or inserted into circular holes. The most important part is cutting out a mouth and placing guacamole in the mouth and around the front of your pumpkin. Now finish it off by surrounding it with some tortilla chips. We also added some pumpkin seeds for teeth to give it some extra personality. What you're left with is a grotesque yet tasty platter that'll be sure to garner plenty of attention. Now this colorful and tasty snack is not only perfect for Halloween, but the entire fall season. You'll need mini-pretzels, orange chocolate melts, and some green m&ms. Now heat the melting chocolate according to the package directions. You can also use white chocolate and mix red and yellow food coloring together until you get your desired tint of orange. Dunk each pretzel in chocolate, then strain excess chocolate with a fork. Now place it on a sheet of wax paper. You'll wanna quickly place a green m&m at the top of the pretzel and let it sit until the chocolate is set. If you have milk chocolate, you can melt that too and add candy eyes and create screaming pretzels. You can quickly whip together a batch of these and please any crowd. For this one all you're gonna need are some carrots. The thicker, the better. Using a sharp knife, cut two parallel slits lengthwise down the carrot. The distance between the cuts will determine the width of your pumpkin stem. Now make perpendicular cuts from each side of your carrot to the stem. Remove a small triangular shape from both sides. The depth of your cut will determine the height of your stem. For a more rounded pumpkin shape, carve the angles at the top with a paring knife or a peeler. Now for a healthy alternative to all that candy, serve up the carrots as is or toss 'em in some soup. As always, thanks for watching and tuning in to The Household Snacker Spooktacular. We'll see you next time. Make sure you subscribe for more videos just like this.
