Why won't he release his tax returns?

And I think there're may be a couple of reasons:

First, maybe he is not as rich as he said he is.

Second, maybe he is not as charitable as he claims to be.

Third, we don't know all of his business dealings,

but we have been told through investigator reporting that he owes about six hundred and fifty million dollars

to Wall Street and foreign banks.

Or maybe he doesn't want the American people all of you watching tonight to know he's paid nothing in Federal taxes.

(If) we reach four percent growth, it will reduce the deficit,

it will be accomplished through a complete overhaul of our tax, regulator, energy and trade policies.

He actually is proud of the fact that he lets everybody else pay taxes. He says that makes him smart.

It was difficult. And you know what, when you have a situation like that and you know it's bad,

and you think you have a hundred million people watching, what do you do? Stop the show? Please fix it. It was bad.
