So a couple of months ago I took a very early bus over to Tokyo so that I could line up to go to this event called POPBOX

3ヶ月くらい前に、朝早いバスに乗って、POPBOX というイベントのために東京に行ってきました！

And it took place at a Loft store in Shibuya

ロフトの渋谷店で開催されました。

If you don't know what Loft is, it's a department store chain in Japan that sells lots of really cool stuff

ロフトとは日本にあるある種のデパート みたいなお店で、いろんな面白いものがあります！

Each floor has different stuff like stationary, makeup, homewares and stuff like that

文房具、化粧品など幅広い雑貨を売ってます！

But the POPBOX event that I went to was a showcase of a whole bunch of artists and their artwork

POPBOX というのはクリエイターの アートバザールイベントです。

And you could get signatures from them, watch them painting live, you can buy their artwork, lots of really fun stuff going on

サイン会、絵付けライブ、展示即売など、いろんな 楽しいことをやっていました！

I got there really early so that I could line up outside because one of my favourite artists, Konatsu, was there

自分が大好きなクリエイター、 小夏さんの商品があるので

and I wanted to make sure that I was able to buy her stuff

絶対買わなきゃ！と思って、 早めに行って外で並びました。

When I got inside I saw that they weren't allowing us to film and I was really sad because

中に入ったら、撮影禁止であることが わかりました。とても残念です。

I wanted to really share her stuff with you guys. She's freakin amazing! I just love her artwork so much.

小夏さんの商品を皆さんにも見てもらいたかった のに。すごくいいんですよ！ 大好きなんです！

because it was really fun and lots of really cool artwork to see

But fast forward to now, I got the coolest offer ever!

And I was just blown away, I kind of felt like it was a dream when I read the offer because

Now let’s start with my favourite, Konatsu

じゃあまず私のお気に入り、小夏屋のものから。

So if you watched the haul video, you might have seen these already. But I’ll just show you guys quickly, what I purchased when I went to the event myself

持ち物紹介動画でもう見た人もいるかも しれませんが、イベントで私が買った作品を まずお見せしますね。

I got a couple of these really cute pencil cases. I’m just in love with this.

この可愛い筆入れを二つほど買いました。 もう大好きなんです。

And I also got this one

これも買いました。

which looks a little more like traditional Japanese artwork

こっちの方が伝統的な日本の感じに近いですね。

And I got some adorable decals.

素敵なステッカーも買いました。

I also got this Negora figure. Is this not the most adorable thing ever!?

筆入れを買ったら、ただでこのネゴラのフィギュアも もらえました。これって最高にカワイくないですか？

Ah omg! I’m so so happy with the purchases that I made.

ほんとに、買って良かったと思います。

Now I pretty much was very close to crying when I opened this box because this was the first thing that I pulled out.

箱から最初に出てきたのがこれだったので、 ほとんど泣きそうになりました。

Ta-da!! It’s a large Negora figure.

ジャジャ～ン、大ネゴラです！

Now this is a sofubi figure. Meaning soft vinyl, so it’s made out of soft vinyl.

これはソフビのフィギュア、つまり ソフトビニール製です。

それにしてもこのフィギュア、美しいと思いません？ 見てるだけで幸せになります。

But is this not the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen!? It makes me so happy, just looking at it.

小夏さんの作るネゴラの様々なフィギュアや絵は、 どれも違うストーリーに沿って、 違う彩色がなされてるんです。

And all the variations she makes of Negora figures and drawings, it’s always different colours and it’s in different stories.

だから選ぶのに迷ってしまう。 集めるのが楽しいです。 今回加わったのは、このネゴラです。

And there’s just so much to choose from. It’s so much fun collecting them, so this is my new collection at the moment, is Negora.

大好きなのでこれからも増やせていけるといいな。

I really hope to increase my collection size because I just love it.

The Japanese name of this toy is Daio Negora no Hyougara Ba-jyon

英語だと The Great Negora, Leopard Print Version かな。

so in English that would be something like The Great Negora, Leopard Print Version

ネゴラは小夏さんの一番有名なキャラクターですが、

Negora is Konatsu’s most famous character, however

他にも柴犬の猛犬怪獣シバラとか、

she does have other characters such as this Shiba-inu monster called Shibara

and there’s also a 9 tailed fox monster called Kyubirosu.

Again, like lots of different things to choose from. I love the variety.

This is one of my favourite items that I received. It’s a little comic book.

裏表紙にカッパちゃんがいます！ カッパというのは 日本の昔からのキャラクターで、 それをあしらってあるんですね。

Look at the little Kappa on the back! Again, a traditional Japanese character that she’s incorporating into her artwork.

中もすごくかわいい漫画なんですよ。

And it’s just the most adorable comic book ever.

The next artist I’m going to show you guys is Fukamachi Naka-san.

人とカップルを専門に描いてらっしゃいます。

She specialises in drawing people and couples.

最初にご紹介するのは絵の本で、すっごくキュートな カップルの絵で溢れています。

This first item is an art book filled with really really cute couple pictures.

このシンプルなスタイルが大好きです。

I just love the simple style of it.

他にもこのポーチみたいな かわいいアイテムがあります。

There are also really adorable items like this cute little pouch.

このデザインがいいんです。ここで足が切れて ますよね。でもそれはこっち側に続いてるんです。

I love how it’s designed. It cuts off their legs here but then they continue, over on the other side.

そして、これもかわいいキーホルダー。

Again some super cute keychains.

これは、布を張った缶バッジ。ちょっと小さいんです が見えます？ 超かわいいの。

A little fabric pin. Hopefully you guys can see that, it’s kinda small.

And the last artist I wanna show you guys some pieces from is Imai Kira.

この方も女性のクリエイターで、 ほんとにほんとにカワイイものだらけです。

Again, a female artist. Really really cute stuff.

パステルと女子っぽい・ちょっとぞくっとする感じが 好きならこの作品もすごく気にいると思います。

If you’re into pastels and girly/slightly creepy vibe I think you’ll really like this stuff.

私はハマってます。

実はこれは PASMO のカードホルダーなんです。 きれいな人魚。

This is a PASMO holder actually, a train card holder. Gorgeous mermaid.

これ、見たことない人には面白いかもしれません。 マスキングテープといって、日本では比較的 よく使われているものです。

This one might seem interesting if you’re not familiar with this but this is decorative masking tape, which is kinda a big thing in Japan.

少なくともアートやクラフトをする人の間では。

Among artists and crafters anyways.

ちょっと開けて見てどんなものかお見せしますね。

Let me see if I can open this up and show you guys what it looks like.

これでグリーティングカードや プレゼントの包みを飾るのは楽しいですよ。 それとかお部屋を自分で飾るとか。

It’s lots of fun for decorating greeting cards or wrapping presents. Or DIYing something in your room.

腕に着けてみました。どんな感じかもう少し よくわかると思います。かわいいでしょ？

Stuck in on my arm here so that it stands out a little more. But isn’t that so cute?

You could stick it on a little wooden box to decorate it or something.

I just love these decorative tapes, they’re so much fun.

これは持ってるもの全部にシールを貼るのが好きな 私には、ぴったりなんです。

As someone who likes to put stickers on everything they own, this is just perfect for me.

最後に紹介するのはファイルフォルダーです。

And the last item I have here is a file folder.

表には綺麗な少女、裏には綺麗な、 これは蝶かな？ それとお花があります。

Beautiful girl on the front, and on the back theres some beautiful butterflies or moths, I can’t tell. Flowers.

女性的だけど同時にちょっとぞくっとするっ て言った意味、わかります？

Do you see what I mean by it’s feminine but slightly creepy at the same time?

私はパステルにめちゃハマってて、家の中を見たら 丸わかりなんですが、とてもきれいだなって思います。

As someone who’s totally obsessed with pastels, as you can see… if you look around my house. I just love her stuff, I think it’s so beautiful.

But many of these creators do shows over in America, and other countries.

なので、ツイッターでフォローして、 そういうアナウンスが読めるようにして おくことをお勧めします。

So follow them on Twitter to keep updated on news like that.

日本で品物を海外に転送してくれるサービスもある ので、それを使えば受け取れると思います。

You may be able to use a Japanese shopping service to get them sent overseas, I’m not positive on that.

そういうサービス業者に連絡を取って、自分のところ に送ってくれるかどうか、確かめるといいでしょう。

But maybe try contacting some of the shopping services and see if they would be willing to do that for you.

日本にいるなら、秘密の屋根裏 （ロフトネットストア）から、 紹介したような作品を買うことができます。

So if you’re located in Japan, you can get these items off the Omni7 website that I mentioned earlier.

このサイトから購入した品物は、セブン-イレブンで 受け取ることができます。

And when you purchase items off that website, they will be delivered to the 7-11 that is most convenient for you to go pick them up at.

自宅や職場の近くのセブン-イレブンに配送してもらう ようにするのも便利でしょう。

So you can have them deliver it to a 7-11 close by your house, or close by your workplace.

24時間営業なら、いつでも都合の良い時に 取りに行けますし。

And then they will be there for you to go pick up at anytime 24 hours around the clock.

超便利でしょうね。それに 送料等の追加料金もかかりません。

So it’s super convenient, and they don’t charge any shipping or any service fees at all.
