Hey, guys. This is Max Tapper again for Howcast. Today, I'm going to show you how to do one
of my favorite exercises, the pull-up. There's nothing, nothing, nothing more effective at
building an awesome back than a pull-up. I'm going to show you how to do it.
First tip is, use your hands as a hook. You're going to lock your hand onto the hook and
not even think about squeezing with your forearm. When you do that, you put the emphasis on
your forearm and your bicep, and we want to keep it on your lats. Here it is. We're up
in our pull-up. Our goal now is to pull from our lats like digging our elbows into the
side of our body. Nose. Slow, all the way down. Back up. Nice and controlled. Very important
is the speed that you're using. Nice control.
This is one of my favorite exercises. When it comes to the back, this is always the one
I love to start with, because it's more difficult than anything else you're going to do for
your back anyway. Master your body weight by doing a pull-up, and your back will love
you. You'll develop the biggest muscles, the most definition you possible can by doing
this one simple thing.
Listen, anytime you see something you can do a pull-up on, jump out there and do it.
I guarantee it'll end up with better results in your back. Get out there, and try these.
Trust me. Pull-ups will result in a much stronger back, a much stronger core, a much stronger
body, totally. Get out there, have fun, and be safe.
