  • Can you do an impression of him? Because I really liked that impression of you.

  • No, no, no, no.

  • That's all I say. I'm a no man.

  • No, no, no... yes.

  • Yes.

  • Yes, no. Posh, posh.

  • That's me down to a tee. Posh?

  • Posh English.

  • Woof. That is so you! All the time. Woof.

  • You do not say woof, do you say woof?

  • I have become a woof man, yeah. I am a woof man.

  • It's gonna catch on.

  • It's coming back.

  • It's coming back.

  • If you get my woof.

  • Woof, woof.

  • Yeah!

  • They invited me to the school dance.

  • What a bimbo.

  • Seriously hot though.

  • Beautiful people, I loved this beautiful film.

  • Thank you.

  • In particular, the nostalgic element I liked, the MSN messenger, I like the loosing virginity

  • chat, I liked the school disco. How did you feel reliving all that brilliant stuff?

  • It feels like it was only yesterday.

  • I know.

  • Honestly, it was when- the first time we heard Crazy In Love by Beyonce and we were like,

  • 'Was this brought out ten years ago? Because it was only literally yesterday.'

  • Yeah, no, that was the thing. Most of the music, it felt like if you put a time frame

  • on when those songs came out, it's shocking. All those songs still stand the test of time,

  • they still play them all the time on the radio, so it feels so relevant. That's why making

  • a period movie that's only based like, 15 years ago, 10 years ago.

  • 10 years ago, yeah.

  • It's like, that's so difficult to do a period piece that doesn't seem period. But I don't

  • know, I felt like I was just right back there.

  • Yeah, the MSN messenger I think for me immediately took me back. I'd rush home from school to

  • continue talking to my friends who I could have just stayed and walked home a bit slower

  • and we could have had an actual conversation but there was something so unique and new

  • about using the internet back then, so.

  • Dial up.

  • Beep beep boop beep.

  • Exactly.

  • It was the only way to chat people up. Used to be like, 'Hello...'

  • That was when chat rooms were kind of clean.

  • God, yeah, chat rooms!

  • I used to go on chat rooms and talk to strangers, it was clean.

  • I did that too!

  • It's now kind of so strange and-

  • Creepy, yeah.

  • Chat roulette, don't check out that.

  • What chat rooms have you guys been in?

  • No, but when I was younger-

  • You've admitted it.

  • I don't use them anymore

  • No, I don't either.

  • Keep in touch, okay?

  • We're getting married.

  • Congratulations.

  • You told me to come here. It wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you. Thank you.

  • So your characters seem to be massive fans of what me and my friends called the old 2-1,

  • where you use someone to make someone else a bit jealous.

  • Oh, yeah.

  • What do you think about that as a tactic? Because I actually think it does work.

  • The old 2-1.

  • I think it does work. Definitely through my high school days, it was constantly- You know

  • what, my tactic was actually to become friends with the girl I really fancied. Like , if

  • she had a boyfriend especially, I'd be like, 'Oh, do you want to- we should totally be

  • friends. We should write letters to each other.' And then once the boyfriend split up, I'd

  • be like, 'You wanna cry, it's fine.'

  • Oh!

  • I was the comforter, I was the comforter and it worked- Never. It never actually worked

  • for me.

  • That's a bad plan.

  • But that was my tactic and it failed miserably. Did you do the old 2-1?

  • I didn't do the 2-1, I think it was-

  • I've never heard of the 2-1 before.

  • - Yeah. - The old 2-1.

  • I think what I would do was I would have my guy friend call the guy, put me on mute with

  • like a three way call and have him lie that I wasn't on the phone and I'd sit there and I'd have

  • him slyly ask, 'Do you like Lily?'

  • Stalker!

  • And then I'd be like, waiting for the answer and then I would-

  • Sneaky!

  • It was so fun. And you'd just be on mute and you'd be listening to the whole conversation.

  • That worked a couple of times.

  • Yeah but I can also imagine that going in the opposite way.

  • Obviously I don't always get the answer I wanted.

  • Gosh, I hate her.

  • Yeah, she's okay.

  • I have never met anyone more irritating.

  • You're both very sneaky individuals it seems.

  • I mean, this isn't a tactic I use now.

  • Everyone had a different tactic back then though, whatever it may be. But the 2-1 I

  • definitely tried a few times.

  • I like that you have a name for it though.

  • The old 2-1.

  • Never heard of it before.

  • Very quickly before I leave, this is one of my favourite questions, if you could go back

  • and give your teen self one piece of advice, what would it be?

  • I say don't change a thing. I think without me going through all the experiences I went

  • through, I wouldn't be sitting here. If there was one slight change, I wouldn't- And I feel

  • very blessed and lucky to be in this position, so I think for me it would be, like, keep

  • going. Just do what you do.

  • I think that sometimes maybe just slow down and enjoy the moment more. Because I think

  • I've always wanted to go to where I've wanted to go, in terms of career and stuff, and I

  • think it's sometimes I was so focused on what was ahead that I may have not lived in the

  • moment as much so I think slow down because I know you're only young once but like-

  • Please remember these years.

  • Yeah, it's like, all of a sudden it really is like you snapped your fingers and you're

  • already now 25 and 10 years ago I was 15, that seems crazy so I think just slow it down

  • a little bit.

  • Have a chill.

  • Yeah.

  • And do the old 2-1.

  • - Do the old 2-1. - Do the old 2-1.

  • Sounds like a dance move.

  • Your advice should be that you're plan did not work.

  • No because you know, I'm fine.

  • I know you're fine, but-

  • You got out the friend zone eventually.

  • Yeah, eventually. I managed to make it work.

  • Your wife's gorgeous, I'm impreseed.

  • She's alright, yeah.

  • She's so pretty.

  • I'm very lucky.

  • She's always on red carpets and I'm like, 'Oh, she's so pretty.'

  • She is so pretty, I'm very lucky.

  • Anyway, I've must stop talking to you. Lovely to meet you.

  • Thank you, nice to meet you too.

  • We're constantly being separated.

  • I've realised that, no matter where you are, or who you're with, I will always truly completely

  • love you.

Can you do an impression of him? Because I really liked that impression of you.
