So we came all this way to Atami to see the beautiful Plum Matsuri

きれいな梅の花を見に 熱海にやってきました〜

Waking up at 5 in the morning to see plums, yeaaay

5時に起きて梅を見に行くんだ、最高〜

Everything is so beautiful here! It's so pink!

We got to see a really nice Geisha Performance!!

After seeing the plum trees we finally could relax

梅の花を見たあと やっと一息つけたよ

with a really nice footbath

足湯でね

We actually didn't do it!

Had a delicious cup of free tea

すっごく美味しい無料の緑茶を飲んだよ

We actually did it and I burned my hand

本当に飲んで、 手を火傷したよ

We then headed to the Kinomiya Shrine

それから来宮神社に行ったよ

to see a 2000 year old tree

樹齢2000年の木を見にね。

Seeing that beautiful majestic tree

この大きくて美しい木を見ていると

I instantly thought about that famous Ghibli movie with the cute characters in the trees, you know:

ジブリの有名な映画、可愛いキャラクターが木の中 にいるやつを思い出したんだ。

It's now time to go to onsen

今から温泉に行きます
