responsible for maintaining a hundred and twenty thousand signs citywide

we install about four thousand new traffic signs every

year we are also responsible for maintaining all the lane lines and cross walks citywide and

there's about twenty two hundred center line miles of roadway

we had an existing contract for raised pavement markers and it expired

and so as a member of the texas co-op

i was able to utilize the existing contract it has the exact same specifications that i use

and save resources not have to bid out

another contract

in addition we also save twelve cents on each marker

we plan on purchasing about forty thousand markers this year
