Marie Avgeropoulos: Yeah this is my first Comic-Con ever.

I'm very excited to be here.

Not sure what to expect. So far I thought a small child was in my

way but it turned out be an RTD2 cruising by so.

Female Speaker: That's pretty cool. Marie Avgeropoulos: Yeah.

Don't know what to expect. Female Speaker: Have you been on the

floor and looked at all the costume and stuff like that?

Marie Avgeropoulos: I haven't. We're doing all the press first and then

we haven't even headed in to the main mothership yet so looking forward to it.

Female Speaker: Would you ever come and dress up as anything?

Marie Avgeropoulos: Yeah. I mean I love playing dress up.

It sounds like fun. It's like Halloween every day around here

so you know Wonder Woman would be cool yeah. Squeeze into that.

That'd be fun.

Female Speaker: So let's talk about The 100s. Can you talk a little about your

character and what she's up to in the show?

Marie Avgeropoulos: The 100 is set 97 years after the earth was destroyed by

a nuclear apocalypse. I play Octavia Black, one of the 100,

one of the juvenile offenders and her crime was just simply being born in blasphemy.

Due to population control you're only allowed to have one child.

I was the second so naturally I had to be hidden under the floor boards and my

mother was executed when I was found and I was sent to jail so naturally I got

a little bit of a chip on my shoulder.

Female Speaker: I would be pissed too. Marie Avgeropoulos: Yeah.

I'd be pissed. Totally.

Female Speaker: And finally what was your most memorable moment of being - of

shooting the pilot?

Marie Avgeropoulos: My most memorable moment. It was all a lot of fun because I got to

go back up to Canada. I'm a Canadian gal so it's great.

I got to go hang out up there to do the shark scene.

To jump in a glacier fed river.

It's great. You don't even need coffee when you're

jumping into to temperatures like that. Ping.

Awake. Female Speaker: Was the water really cold?

Marie Avgeropoulos: For sure. Yeah.
