And I really love Christmas.

Not for like the Santa reasons

or like the Jesus reasons,

like both of those white-washed people

don't really get me going for the holiday season.

Like it doesn't have to be Christmas even, it can just be any holiday

I'm just all about those December holidays

I love themed music, I love themed emojis, so much so

that even when Christmas is over, going into the New Year, (January I'll take some time off)

But like starting February I'm already back into it.

This February, for example, February 7th 2015, I tweeted

my love for Christmas themed emojis and music.

And how much I was already missing them.

And I will say, y'all are pretty much the best people ever on twitter.

You're funny and hilarious and you crack me up and you drag me accordingly.

But one tweet in response to that tweet in particular,

caught my eye. And it was from Wild Oakley on Twitter.

Her name is Tasha, and she told me,

"Oh my God, less than a year until Christmas!"

Obviously, its always less than a year until Christmas,

but, Tasha reminded me of that,

And I was like, "Oh my God, the countdown is on!"

And so when I saw that tweet from Tasha, I was like,

"Thank you for bringing that thought into my head

and putting a smile on my face."

If you get a chance, ever Tasha,

always remind me of how many days we have left until Christmas.

Like, it doesn't have to be everyday,

But I told her, if you get a chance!

And lo and behold, thus started my countdown to Christmas.

And Tasha, did not disappoint!

Tasha reminded me at 319 days,

which reminded me of making Christmas cookies with my mom, which is one of my favorite things.

At 297 days, she reminded me,

and that made me think of like slumber parties with my nieces and nephews.

At 224 days, she reminded me in person for the first time;

it was the first time we ever met at my Slumber Party Tour.

She reminded me at 183 days,

which is 6 months until Christmas, which made me very excited,

because it means we are dangerously close to reblogging that post on tumblr

that's like "Are you ready to jingle your bells?"

Which is like one of my favorite tumblr posts for the holiday season.

She reminded me at 100 days, which I kind of already knew about

because I was already listening to my Christmas playlist on Spotify,

because it's never too early for Christmas music.

She reminded me at 91 days with the Santa emoji.

At 47 days when she reminded me that I should probably get started with my gift shopping.

And, at 17 days, where she hoped that

even though I was traveling all around the world, all year,

that I would find time to make it home this holiday season.

I feel like I get so much love from all of you, not just Tasha,

and you put smiles on my face all year long.

This holiday season, I was gonna send Tasha a Christmas card,

but I don't know if she celebrates Christmas.

Whatever you celebrate, Tasha, I hope its a merry whatever.

Um, I hope that whatever you celebrate,

or if you celebrate nothing at all, you day is good.
