The water is blue.

水は青く澄んでいる。

I'm about to jump on this boat and go on a tour of Sun Moon Lake.

この船に乗って Sun Moon Lake のツアーに出掛けたいと思います。

I'm out here on the lake now, and it's incredible.

湖の上に来ましたけど素晴らしいです。

The water, I feel like I'm in the Caribbean.

水の感じがカリビアンって感じですね。

It's turquoise.

ターコイズ色で。

The entire lake is ringed by these giant emerald mountains.

湖全体がエメラルド色の山々で縁取られているんです。

I can see pagodas off in the distance, the Wen Wun Temple.

遠くにパゴダが見えますね、日月潭文武廟です。

This place is definitely magical.

この場所は間違いなくこの世のものとは思えません。

Experiencing the lake on the boat was fantastic.

船に乗って湖を遊覧するのは最高でしたけど、

But now I'm gonna go up high in a gondola and get a bird's eye view.

今度はゴンドラで上から景色を楽しみたいと思います。

You can see different villages and all the different pockets of the lake.

色んな村や湖の入り江が見えますね。

You can really get a sense of how turquoise the water is.

改めてどれだけ水がターコイズ色をしているかが見て取れます。

And just cruising above here, it's just beautiful.

それに上からこうして楽しむのは素晴らしいですよ。

I'm looking at a big set of stairs here.

長い階段がありますね、ここには。

I gotta climb to the top.

上まで登らないとですね。

But I hear it's gonna be worth it because the view from up there is really nice.

でも1番上からの景色は本当に素敵だと聞いています。

And this pagoda was actually built by Chiang Kai-shek.

このパゴダは蔣 介石が作ったんです。

And he built it in honor of his mama.

お母さんを記念して建てたそうです。

So he's a big mama's boy.

かなりのお母さん子らしいですね。

And he made it so that every time you look at this you'd be reminded of his special mother.

これを見るたびに、特別な存在のお母さんの事を思い出すために建てたんです。

Pretty cool guy.

なかなか良い男ですね。

It's been a beautiful day here on Sun Moon Lake.

Sun Moon Lake で素敵な1日を過ごしました。

I got to experience it from a boat and high above in a gondola and now beautiful sunset.

船とゴンドラから楽しんで、今度は美しい日没ですね。
