School time! Good morning! I'm excited for you to meet our new student, Koala. Hi!

Hello Koala, are you nervous about your first day of school? You'll enjoy it more if you come

out and play with the others. You might even learn something new and exciting. Or I can

come play with you! I'm an explorer, and I'm looking for buried treasure! Tiger, you make

a great pretend explorer. You can be a brave explorer who's looking for buried treasure

in your cubby! I mean, cave. No thank you. Hellooo! Is there any treasure in there?

Haha, I don't see any. Maybe you're not looking hard enough.

I'm glad to see you two playing!

Oh, I'm playing? Wow! Now you can play with me! I'm going to lead you in a parade all

I don't feel like playing today. I know just how you feel. You do? When I first

came to school, I was afraid to join in too. So, I pulled my arms in, and I pulled my legs

in, I just wanted to hide. So I did! I saw everyone else playing, and I wanted to play

too. So, I slowly came out of my shell, one foot at a time. Do you want to try?

How's your first day of school going Koala? Great! At first I was nervous, but then I met Tiger, and we searched for treasure.

Then I met Monkey, and he showed me all around the classroom. And then, Turtle told me that

he was nervous on his first day too!

Now I feel so much better, and I can't wait to come back tomorrow!
